It’s still happening
Too much steroids in high school
The problem remains

Perhaps it’s a fascination with the idea of perfection, a particular Germanic version of perfection which is more related to the ideas of complexity and engineering twiddling rather than just pure engineering. As an example, the Porsche IMS bearing problem; perfectly fine design in the original version(s) and

Those look like ‘waiting on the food’ looks; as in ‘you’re wastin’ our time fiddling with that thing while our food bowls are empty and You Are Responsible’......good looking cats. How did mom get the nicked ear?

That’s pretty amazing for any RPG forum; too many seem to be populated by some version of the Sad Puppies crossbred with Proud Boys.

One of the conclusions I came to was that virtually all the sites that have commenting have no true moderation. It’s either “we only cut off dirty words” or “it’s free speech, man..man!”. That moderation includes cutting off stupidity when it’s necessary escapes them. So I’m perfectly happy to see sites dump

I used to hang on a history forum many moons ago. One of their tenets was the idea of free speech and the exercise of it; the mods tried to do their best but part of the problem was themselves. That self-selected venn diagram essentially underwrote all the anti-”liberal” spew that all the right-wingers had to dump

Mmm, what happens if you’ve got mostly stuff that makes you joyous? Just asking for a friend.....

Secret Hideout? I’m still looking for the Secret Tunnel...

It’s actually easier than you think. After a few shrimp passes, it’s just a game of patience ‘til you’re done cleaning and deshelling. Cooking it all is really just a few minutes ‘cuz you don’t want to overdo the shrimp. It’s got to be tender still.

Well, I was trying to stay on the vein of quick, easy, and available. Shelling many shrimp is an exercise in patience and timing and definitely not a quick thing.

This is interesting. The OG Bethel Woods/Woodstock would seem like a perfect place to do a musicfest but having been there not too long ago, it’s just not equipped to handle that many people. Maybe a smaller band or 2 but a full-on Woodstock, no way. It’s a beautiful place though. Watkins Glen makes sense in that

I like using the cheap Costco shrimp (20 count?/5-7 per adult) with a solid heirloom tomato/onion/a ton of garlic/olive oil base and a bunch of fresh basil. Probably would work well with a little paste instead of the tomato, though,. Have to try that. Usually, I like my sauce not too tomatoey, like just a little red

This reminds me of an incident of mine, many years ago when I was driving at Riverside in mid-summer. As one might know, RIR in mid-summer California heat is quite hot and brutal during the afternoon. So while doing an AM Cal Club training stint in my friends FF, I thought I was lucky to enjoy the relatively cool

The combi is what counts in the end. McDs combi of sausage mcMuff, potato cake and orange juice/coffee is all I need. Otherwise, too many breakfast sandwiches are just too big; like the triple stack would make me supersleepy when just the base combo will power me through lunch no problem.

Yeah, that was a crazy setup. With some crazy driver selection. But, those were the times. An awful lot of money was being thrown around. Too bad about those cars though, sweet rides being bent like soda cans.

Russian Troll.

Sad.

Great article; encapsulates so much of what happened in Japan and how it has affected Japan since. Excellent.

Ahh, nothing like the Lego School of Auto Design. Make it blocky and angry and people will buy it. It’s like the laziest design sketching in the world. Yeesh.

Alas, Alanis, you were on the receiving end of typical face-saving bs.
