Can't speak for him, but generally when I've seen people dislike Tali it's because she's too flagrantly designed to be the ideal moe anime waifu.

This is the only positive press I've seen on TESO so far, so Gameological not being a great gauge of the market isn't exactly working in their favor.
That's fair. I just figure that even if I'm suddenly down 2 hot shots, I'd rather bring 4 Colonels and 2 Squaddies to a mission than 6 Lieutenants.
I liked the addition of Seekers, but the "Catching Breath" status that your soldier gets the turn that you free him is kind of a bummer. I just remember freeing a guy the first time, saying "Yeah, now that guy can blast the Thin Man creeping in on us!" and noticing that I had about a 4% chance to hit.
The weirdest shortcut to me is still the Kalimari Desert one, where you just drive through one of the train tunnels and activate a star at the right spot. It'd make sense to me if the train tunnels were always a (dangerous) shortcut. But instead, it just relies on a glitch where the game recognizes you as having…
This weekend is more Borderlands 2 for me. I wrapped up Tiny Tina's DLC last weekend aside from the big scary Raid Boss, and I'm most of the way through Captain Scarlett's DLC as I inch closer and closer to the (original) level cap. So far, Tina's is definitely the stronger of the two.
I dunno about you guys, but my N64 and SNES both look like a pile of garbage plugged into a modern TV, so I'm defaulting to Mario Kart Wii these days. (With Gamecube controllers, of course)
I'd also say that the Sanity implementation was a little questionable. Yeah, there were a couple times early on where low Sanity effects made me jump. But after a handful of them, I realized they were the coolest part of the game, so I made it a point to stay at low sanity all the time since there are otherwise no bad…
The movie will actually be 2 hours of looking at Desmond's face as he thinks really hard about being an Assassin. Meanwhile, Ezio's story will be heard via audio in the style of an old timey radio play.
I had this same misunderstanding (thinking Kalibak was High Father's son in the trade) and only have the DCAU as reference. Did they ever actually show Mr. Miracle in Superman:TAS? I'm wondering if that's what caused it — mentioning the swap but only showing us Kalibak and Orion.
Bad grammar: Space Pope says Space Nope.
I think the most brilliant thing about Joffrey is that he actually does gets some of it from Robert.
I finished up the oil rig yesterday, and I have to ask: when you said "And the Enclave is fun," did you mean the Enclave as a narrative element or the final level itself? Because holy cats, that was one of the most excruciating pieces of gaming I've dealt with in recent memory.
Saw this on the front page and thought, "Ooh, an F! Oh god I hope it isn't poor Sonia stuck with it again." :(
Saints Row 4 is definitely a nice palate cleanser after Dark Souls.
After setting it aside for just over a month, I've gotten myself back on the Fallout 2 horse.
Much as I love Bebop, I'm gonna go with your avatar and lean towards Batman: TAS.
I don't even watch TV except stuff I can get by the season via Netflix and the occasional hockey game. I'm sorry Sonia. :(
I've already whined about the combination of all 3 soldier-randomizing options in my own post (1 or 2 seems fine, but all 3 together are just too much for me), but I'm glad they've included so many Second Wave options. Really a cool way of fiddling with the game.
The new loot really does go a long way. When you find a slightly better item that also gives you +15% damage to a skill or damage type, it ends up being a nice reason to mix up your skillset. That felt like a huge issue with launch D3 - sure there are a million options, but really you're just going to find one you…
