For reasons now lost to me, my first viewing of Pulse stopped when Ryosuke and Harue board the subway. I thought It was a beautiful, bleak, ambiguous ending. Then I came back years later and realized how much movie was left. The true ending is fitting, but much more heavy-handed. It was and continues to be a bummer.

I still sing my numbers in Spanish because of Sesame Street. Uno, dos, tres, quaaa-tro, ciiiin-co, seeeee-is, seeei-te, ooooo-cho, nueee-ve, diez!

If it's dumb to feel EMPOWERED TO THA MAX, then maybe.

I wish I had more than two thumbs with which to give this piece thumbs up.
