This is a newly-found version. I can’t tell if it’s fake because it seems too perfect.

You spelt it wrong, moran.

Outside of NY, Chicago, and...that’s pretty much it in the US, public transportation is pretty much utter shit everywhere else. That’s why cars are everywhere here.

You can love cars, but still think they are sometimes the wrong tool for the job (see dense urban city).

Or: Can we just burn the “Discovery Institute” to the ground. Maybe put some townhouses, a trolley, and a bike boulevard there instead.

Indeed, Rufo’s disdain for experts as opposed to normal folks of the community is a theme throughout

This all sounds fantastic, who can I vote for to make this happen faster?

I’ve owned one. Drove it 78,000 miles. Never had a problem. I kept up on oil changes and fills, pre-mixed, warmed it up properly every time I drove it, took it to redline every time I drive it (critical for Wankel health), and let it cool properly before shutting it off every time. I’ve owned four Mazda rotaries in

The NB2 seats are awful. I just swapped from a base NB1 to a Mazdaspeed NB2 and if the old seats didn’t have 100k miles on them starting to wear through in the bottom then I’d swap them over before I sold the old car.

Always Bet On Miku.

he thinks it because he imagines he was delayed by five seconds by a bicyclist once

We’d be lucky if Hui’s life was worthy of 30 hours of community service, if Chris were driving a car when he hit him.

“Keep it simple, and keep it analog if you can.”

Worth noting that the author of Effective Cycling, John Forester, quit riding bikes, because he got too old and slow to even attempt vehicular cycling. Meanwhile, with pervasive protected infrastructure ala what’s common in the Netherlands, he might even still be able to ride.

I’ve always felt conflicted about “Vision Zero”. One one hand, the goal seems too ridiculously lofty to even take seriously. On the other hand, the “mistakes” that prevent Vision Zero from becoming reality are laughably avoidable.

I know, shoulda asked the wife to throw some tummy tea on that stretcher so I could get paaaid

Those parking protected bike lanes are better, but when they’re not enforced you end up with them becoming loading zones, uber pick up zones, or additional ‘parking’ for whoever feels entitled to park there. At least that’s what happens in NYC and Boston.

One thing about Utrecht (and the Netherlands generally): car drivers are automatically liable for any injury or damage in an accident with a pedestrian or cyclist.
