Didn’t the guy paint a building? Something that is visible in public? How do you get to charge for taking a picture of something in the public space? I’m confused.

Nothing wrong with that. You’ve got it figured out at that point. You understand the game, but choose not to play, or I guess you could say, you know the game and know how to win it. Either way, why over burden yourself for stuff that you don’t need?
Exactly. Why put that debt load on yourself if you don’t have to? Do I want the newest, fastest thing out there now? Sure, but since I can’t afford to pay for it, I just bide my time and let depreciation do it’s thing and I can buy that car in 2-3 years and have it paid off.
How about buying something that you could actually afford and get paid off in a hurry?
60 months is too long a term for an auto loan, period. If you can’t pay it off in 3 years, then you’re doing it wrong. Unless you are holding the cash to pay it off and you got a super low interest rate, there is no excuse to purchase with those long terms. It may mean that you have to buy something a bit less…
Definitely the ramp drivers fault, but I can say I’ve had a similar incident that could’ve been much worse. The ramp over from NB 375 to NB 75 that splits off to Lafayette, it has two lanes going to NB 75 and I typically use the right lane and fly through the overpass and onto 75. But this night was during winter…
Fun fact, the state doesn’t owe us nice roads or owe it to us to fix potholes. Per the law anyway. So they are basically absolved of fixing things and the vehicular damage it causes. Not saying it’s right, but that’s how it is.
Lol have your star
A good pair of coveralls can be had for less than $40 too. Makes a world of difference. No worries about trashing clothes.
Preach brother, preach.
You have a good point. Look at an audi interior. I can jump in a 2000 model and a 2017 model and know pretty much how all the buttons and knobs are going to work and how to access the different features. It’s all very familiar. And it works well, so no sense radically changing it.
Ahem... Lincoln... I don’t think I need to say anymore. As in I support your veiw. The cadillac striving to compete with the Germans is good for the brand.
I don’t know, then you end up with Lincoln. They don’t really compete with the Germans at all, and I think their lineup is worse off for it. To me they have a bunch of bloated looking fancy fords. Nothing appealing to get me into their showrooms.
But the CTS-V is what brought me into the cadillac fold many years ago. I have since moved onto the Audi brand, as they offer good performance with AWD, but I’d come back if they put together a CTS-V with AWD. In a heartbeat. So don’t write off the performance variants of the brand. It brings people in the doors. …
I’ve got brother in law like that. And another one that was like that, but he figured out he could buy something a year or two old and still have a warranty for the next 3-4 years and pay either the same or less than that rental car he had previously. You can buy a lot of repairs for that lease payment, but for some…
Exactly, but there are a lot of folks out there that want new cars and want fancy new cars, so they are willing to lease them... works for me, so I can buy that car in 2-3 years for half price. So it sounds good for us smarter folks too because it gets the cars out on the road to depreciation for us to snap up for…
Agreed.
Agreed.
That photo looks like USAuto on 18-1/2? I love that place. Do those coveralls have a cover over the zippers? I’d be worried about scratching paint on my car. Any issue with that?
If you fly for trips you likely rent anyway, so no big deal. But if you need to rent more than a few times a year to drive places, maybe not so Great.
Easily, three car garage. Or did I miss something? Nothing wrong with three cars. We’ve got three, a minivan, a sedan, and a small pickup. So in lieu of a toy for now, I have my truck. But one day I’ll get a track rat too, so I just need a 4 car garage. Easy peesy. But three vehicles is simple to accommodate.
