Interesting. My experience was just in the city of Toledo, so it was a traffic police that ticketed my vehicle. Good times. I imagine it’s all different based on where you are located and if you are a subdivision and all that. My in laws up in Troy MI are in a small subdivision that has to take care of their own

I definitely don’t know all the rules either, but if I’m found in non compliance with them, then I shouldn’t get pissed off about it. I should learn what is acceptable and comply, or if I feel it’s wrong or gray, then I can turn to the legal system to effect change.

If it’s by gross vehicle weight, that would make sense.

Well said.

If only there was a way to make a change... of you guys liked the jeeps so much, why not try to oppose the legislation?

I like how the jackass is calling the folks that are for following rules the snowflakes.... instead of the special little snowflake that they are acting like...

You realize your city collects taxes based on that valuation, correct? It’s in their best interest to keep vales up. More revenue. Pretty simple. And this isn’t about that per se, this is about a guy that has a vehicle that isn’t allowed to be parked in the city due to some ordinance or law on the books.

That’s a good way to be. However, if there are rules prohibiting something and they get called out on it, then so be it. We don’t get to pick and choose what rules we follow and which ones we don’t. I’m not going to call somebody out for stuff you described, but if it’s against the rules and you get caught, don’t

That’s super, do you live where this guy lives? Are there rules prohibiting such vehicles? If no and no, then congratulations you win the keepyournoseoutofmybusiness lotto and good for you. The guy in the article is doing something that is prohibited and he got caught. Too bad, so sad. Does it suck for him, yeah,

Oh, so you do care what your neighbors do? It’s just a crack stand, what gives? /s. Rules are there for a reason, sure some don’t get enforced as stringent as others but they are still there. One man said crack stand is another mans army truck, but if they aren’t prohibited then people can piss off. But I’m pretty

Many times there are laws regarding how long you can street park something without moving it. I got ticketed once cause I left my van in the street for longer than 72 hours. My bad, I didn’t go bitching about how the mean old police were being unfair to me. I just paid the fine and made sure my van was in the

Is there a rule prohibiting the vehicle? Yes, then move it, simple. What the actual fuck people? Oh I wouldn’t care...oh you just have a stick up your ass.... what the hell? Rules exist to for the betterment of society, mostly, but they exist nonetheless, when we don’t comply with the rules we are in the wrong.

If the paint colors aren’t dictated by your city, then go for it. But this article, the guy is non compliant. Simple as that.

Or c) smart individuals that don’t want to live next door to someone with a chicken coop outside.... or some other unsightly thing.

Sucks yes, but if it’s against the regs then that’s pretty simple.

I thought the guy was violating some city code? If so, then too bad, comply with the codes, or try to change them. Pretty simple. If the vehicle is considered commercial and that’s against the rules, then abide by the rules. If you don’t like how it’s classified, then lobby your representatives to make some sort

And that oem muffler is HEAVY too. I yanked mine on a neon acr I had for autox. Add the sticky tires and three wheel motion all day boyeee. I still miss that car. A little loud, but not too bad.

Don’t the automateds have an auto stop of a vehicle hangs up at the end, or the towel dry queue gets backed up? I thought I’ve seen that on the automated washes, and assumed that’s what it was for, but guess not in this case.
