I have a box of old cassette tapes Mr. Amorpha insists he’ll play again. Will Urban Outfitters buy them from me? I’d let them go for $150, which is slightly higher than the $0 I considered them worth yesterday.

So, I’m guessing from the review that I DON’T need to watch this one, as a domestic violence survivor. It’s too bad. I am interested in the story, but I don’t think I’m up for watching a lady crying and shaking talking about it in court and then being disrespected and/or patronized (by the court, not the documentary).

There’s always a convenient reason to blame the women and excuse the men. She didn’t fight him off hard enough! She should’ve left him! She shouldn’t have been walking there/ drinking there/ dressed like that! Anything to keep them from considering that maybe the man is an abusive asshole.

If he was messing up women’s careers if they refused his sexual advances as alleged, it’s fair play for those women to make that public.

Leaving aside the fact that one of the people he targeted was fucking 14, lines like:
