Wow, this should help the already dismal sales of the SS.
Wow, this should help the already dismal sales of the SS.
Well played.
Go to the place you would never buy from to drive the cars. Sometimes people go to the best price place, get comfortable with the salesperson and try to get a good deal. You want your first contact with the best-price place to be through their web group. When you get a price from them, only go in when you're ready…
I think "Cooper Zeon Tires" might wear better than "Copper Zeon Tires." Plus no one would like all the sparks.
Why aren't you going in through the web to get your wife's car?
You are correct and I know it. We were giving quotes for $400 under tissue, knowing that the wise customers were going to get another 3 or 400 below that. They didn't have to use the "just been sold" trick. They had 500+ new cars on the lot at all times.
The $mart idea is to get a quote from their web sales department, if they have one. They start at invoice or below invoice. When you walk in cold, they start at sticker. I worked in a web sales department, so I'm speaking from experience. The web group has to give a good price or you'll never come into the store!
Your are right, StevenG. The high-volume dealership I worked for sold 235 new T****a vehicles one month I was there. They make 75% of their profit on service. They sell new cars just to get them into service.
JK: Australia's Holden is being closed as a manufacturing base. What does that portend for the Holden Commodore-based Chevrolet SS? It seems to fill a need. MR: It does fill a need. I especially like the custom exhaust.
CP, unless the buyer has a warehouse full of front fenders.
It's interesting that the foolish act has changed from stealing the items to "…the shift knob and emblem he found…" Apparently he hasn't learned that you return the items you stole and then apologize to the people from whom you stole them. I'm sure there is someone at the "Ford booth" today who would accept the…
Wow, Russians even have dash cams on their apartment buildings!
Bob Dylan helped usher in the music video age in 1965 with his "Subterranean Homesick Blues"
CP, because when I first saw this thing, I thought of this:
Or, not very sharp. Or a minor introduction… Please, make me stop!
I guess the introduction of this note is a little flat...
"...I'm pretty amped to see this thing take 70 foot jumps on a GRC course…"
You left one out...
Cargill, runs a huge salt mine 1 mile below Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York. Cornell University sits above the south end of Cayuga Lake. I visited the mine when I worked for a company that supplied equipment to them. You have to take a rickety elevator down a mile, a trip that takes about…
