Sounds like we’re on the same page. I loved DD and am anxious to start Jessica Jones. I really want to watch Carter but I haven’t seen it stream anywhere yet. (no cable here, netflix and amazon)

Nope. Maybe that was personal bias of seeing Winter Soldier before starting AofS, but it didn’t work for me. I thought the last few episodes of season 1 were awful.

Opinion needed.

Ge did say mini-series, not full series. So yes, an ending.

Cat’s Cradle is the first Vonnegut I read (not assigned for school), and it’s still my favorite. Best part of this is we could all spend weeks rattling off our favs and there would be no wrong answers.

Middy has been fighting Graves disease. If slowing down production tines keeps her healthy I’m for it. Keep the hits banging and you can take all the time you want.

I hope Boyega being in Ep VII leads people to go back and see Attack the Block. Great movie.

I live in Chicago. I’ve been really trying to not pass advance judgement. But saying it’s not a comedy when the source material is a comedy is red flag one. This song and lyrics are red flag two.

What do you know about

Doing They Live with the first one right?

The Batman/Deathstroke is obvious BS. We’ve already seen there will be flashback/backstory to Batman. They filmed the theater scene again, this time the Wayne’s are coming from seeing The Mask of Zorto. Why would they bother doing all that if it wasn’t Bruce Wayne?

Is the Tartakovsky version of Clone Wars out there anywhere? That’s the one I really want to see.

In the tradition of the late Roget Ebert, a takedown of a terrible movie can be really entertaining in it’s own right. Well done.

They didn’t. Which is why Muppets Most Wanted kept cracking jokes about just that. There’s one moment where Robin walks through, implying he’s the exact same character Walter is, except, you know, known.

All great movies, all very odd viewing experiences. I say this to encourage you, but also be prepared for something completelt different. Brazil especially. Such a strange, wonderful satire.

It is confusing if you don’t already know. I just remember seeing Rudd party when KC made the series last year.

Should be Royals, capital R. Rudd grew up near KC.

It’s baseball. Rudd grew up in nearby Overland Park. When the Royals made the series last year he threw a huge kegger on his parents property, if I remember correctly.

Apologies if mentioned, but The Kid Stays in the Picture. Robert Evans, author, did the narration fir both the audio book and the movie.

Fellow Cards fan living in Chicago. There’s no reason the Cubs or Pirates can’t beat the Cards in 5 games. I’m already salivating over the upcoming Arrietta/Cole game. Mets/Dodgers should be a blast as well. I can’t wait.
