I let a friend talk me into doing a shot with him at his bachelor party. It was thoroughly gross. I think he kept trying to say it was something I had to try at least once since we live in Chicago he was incorrect, I did not need to try it. No one should try it.

My wife makes great Bloodies (can't eait until sunday!). Pretty similar to what you say here. There's lemon, worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. No horsey sauce, but she might like that.
One thing she adds not on your list: clam juice. Just a tablespoon at most. I can't say exactly what it does, I just know I enjoy

Excuse me, if you're speaking of the Springfield Hilton, please refer to it by it's official name - the Penis on the Prairie.

We may have to have words about mexican food. I havent ventured much into the southwest territory of the US, so I can't compare, but I love our mex food. I think it's pretty damn authentic too. I would take a pepsi-challenge with any fucking city and their mex food, esp with Rick Bayless leading the way.

I'm from Chicago and find Chicago style pizza to be gross. When I go visit my brother in Brooklyn a slice of that delucious cheese pie is one of the things I most look forward to.

Ok ladies, let me tell you how to work the eyeshadow. The key is to find a darker liner for the upper lid (or black, which always adds depth to even really fine lashes). I like MAC Fluidline in black- it stays on forever and is so easy to apply. Draw along the upper lash line, keeping it thin, and ever so slightly

I drove on Milwaukee recently in bike-asshole rush hour. Never again. I will go blocks out of my way to avoid those entitled assholes.
The fucking bike only lanes only make them worse.

Uhg, how bad is it? As a StL native I've been increasingly embarassed by the team and the local coverage this time around.

First thing I thought. A lot of people in StL have willful ignorance of such things. They fled to the burbs in the 80's, drive in for games and drive right back out.
Nevermind that for the longest time the area around the ballpark was one of the worst in the city.
For a long time there StL was at or near the top of cuty

That's very close to being an exact quote from Dr. Spaceman from the @Tracey Does Conan" episode of 30 Rock.

Hard to disagree with anything you said, and I'm a fan. I grew up on Whiteyball in the 80's, what can you do. Childhood menories lead to adult fandom. I know it's annoying for the rest of the league but it is what it is. Their sustainability model has worked perfectly so far. Keep in mind this is a rebuilding phase,

I have no trouble believing it happened, I just don't get what it has to do with his firing at all. Did those letters cause them to finish 0-6? Or not understanding the value of Joey Votto? And why wait until you're fired to say you got the letters?

Excellent point on Jocketty. Obviously not the only GM with guys on 'roids as rampant as they were. Sosa wasn't his, for one, but Walt certainly did his fair share of enabling.

For a second I was really confused, racking my brain to figure out how things went down in '03. Then I realized you meant a decade in the ither direction. For what it's worth, I'm roiting for KC and Pittsburgh to make some postseason noise.

On the workout subject, any tips for cleaning earbud headphones? Most of us need music for motivation, and obviously there is sweat involved. I feel I'm carrying workout sweat in my ears when I use them again. Of course I don't want to use the wrong cleaner and short out the headphones.
