If he didn’t run while being black this wouldn’t have been an issue. While we’re at it, why did he choose to be black anyway? He should take some responsibility for his actions.

Anything that knocks Jimmy Haslam down a peg is okay by me.
Brava!
Is this like one of those bad beatnik poems that we’re supposed to snap our fingers at, or do you guys still prefer the rhythmic slapping sound of applause?
For all the talk about sanctions this program has been
under it’s pretty clear that Franklin has helped them
come back from it.
Kudos to him and all their fans.
Gonna go with never.
As the reporter rightly was getting at with his questioning, the “I’m only accountable to the people in my district” defense rings a bit hollow when Blum’s largest donors are from outside of his district. If he can be bought by parties outside his district, then he can answer questions asked by Iowans outside his…
Mashed cauliflower is all that is right in the world.
Throw some peanut butter and American cheese on there and you’ve got yourself a plate.
And he gets to enjoy the weather. The guy coaching them inside doesn’t get to see the light of day
Oh, Trump is going to drain the swamp. Especially the federally protected one with oil underneath it.
A Cabinet that “looks like America” is a Cabinet that doesn’t believe in evolution.
This is the right wing, in a nutshell. I’m so sick and tired of hearing how they give a fuck about the people of this country and how it’s the evil elites on the left who are the real villians. The right care about power, holding power and using it to fuck over as many people as possible before they lose it. Fuck…
Yeah, that is ridiculous. I understand getting pissy about players selling off property, it may even be considered NCAA’s property if their bylaws state as such (kind of like how you’re not supposed to sell an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, etc. statuette). But Baylor deserves much stiffer penalties.
They traded their own memorabilia (jerseys, autographs, B1G championship rings, etc.). Tressel found out about it, didn’t say anything (there was also an FBI investigation tangentially related to one of the non-player parties, but I don’t remember details here), and so the NCAA dropped the hammer.
I don’t recall it specially, could you give a high level summary? Were they selling sports related stuff or was it literally they sold an old thing on craigslist and got slapped.
Member when a program allowed it’s players to rape real-life victims with impunity because it was winning football games?
I don’t see anything wrong with any of that, either. I don’t see what’s wrong with people getting paid fairly for work they do, but maybe that’s just me.
Can’t tell if you’re kidding, but those kids profiting off their education in such a crass way is inexcusable
Remember when the NCAA sanctioned Ohio State for its players selling things they owned?
