I think it’s smart not to have the Big Bad overshadow the core team. We know these guys are threats because of what they’ve done in the past, but the stakes are just a hair lower because they have also been soundly defeated in many ways throughout the MCU. Letting the agents shine is how we should go out.

I really wish they’d bring Cal back. He was awesome. Then again he got a great ending so I’m not that sad. Kyle MacLachlan probably doesn’t come cheap enough right now anyway.

Those comedy categories are a bunch of murderer’s rows (also The Kominsky Method is there for some reason). I can’t say I’d be upset with most of them winning, but it would be nice to see either The Good Place or Shcitt’s Creek get one on their way out the door.

And Doctor Who’s “Heaven Sent.”

Oh man I don’t know. Cal’s arc was among my favorite of the series.

This reminds me of my friend in college who would say “Yesterday was awesome. I don’t remember any of it.” He ended up in rehab.

Retention rates are cratering as subscribers spend a month on, say, Netflix, then next month move to Hulu, then quit that and go to Disney+, and when they’re done with the Mandalorian they go back to Netflix. That’s why so many of them are trying to entice people with one year contracts at deep discounts.

Once the contract with Hulu runs out. Right now 1-5 is still on Hulu, although I doubt season 6 will be. Hulu is kind of a mess right now as CBS/Viacom/Paramount and NBC/Universal run out their contracts with it before Hulu likely goes to full ABC/Disney that is too “mature” for Disney +

Again, my head hurts. All this

There are some absolute gems beyond what’s listed in the article in the free tier. Topsy-Turvey, Bernie, Vertigo, Dead Ringers. That’s probably on purpose. In two months time a lot of movies will have moved over to pay.

Did you notice that every network news source is leftwing? ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, NPR.  Even The Weather Channel.

They have Daily Signal, the Blaze, Townhall and OANN as more reliable than Fox News. Say what you will about Fox, but their White House reporter doesn’t believe in Pizzagate and start questions with “is

Agent Flipsides McBland was my least favorite part of the show but after his last appearance in the Framework the series lost a step. Part of that is because the position the show is in having to walk this weird line of not having anything to do with Ultron/Infinity/Endgame while still being part of the MCU with

SHIELD might be the bastard son of Marvel, but I’m sure they’ve got the money to handle that.

I just want us all to be able to check on Mel today.

Reiner wasn’t a flashy director. He was a straight man and knew enough to let great comics do their thing. The way he shot this, one of my all time favorite scenes, is ideal. Keeping Martin far off center based on who is winning the fight for control of his body seems like an obvious choice but it’s the absolutely

He’s one of the few sex maniacs in Hollywood that nobody says a bad thing about. Even Feldman goes out of his way to say “not Schumacker.”

There are only three classic detectives that are so tied to their performances  and chemistry they can’t be rebooted.  Nick Charles, Nora Charles, Columbo.

A lot of the protesters I know are going for tests.  They care about people.

I’d argue that Up is one of their most daring films because it manages to not have any real rules about how it’s world works, establishes nothing but Carl’s backstory, and we still buy it because it grounded itself so well at the start.

The montage is achingly real. Then, after grounding you, it increases the strange

I was really skeptical about Mick’s story line at the start of the season. He was burdened with one of those TV “we are out of ideas” ideas - a daughter he didn’t know he had. Starting with the Dyonasis episode they managed to pay it off with some solid character development and an actual role for the “surprise

I will never forgive the way Carter treated Scully and I can see why Gillian Anderson put an end to her involvement. The “My Struggle” episodes disrespect everything the character represents.

The ones worth watching are by Glen and/or Darien Morgan. “Rm9sbG93ZXJzis top tier monster of the week/kinda silly, and “The
