is Singh the mole?

This season has had insane tonal shifts in every episode. I admire how they mange to hold it together all together be being thematically tight.

I was, at first, angry that we didn’t get much of a smackdown between Constantine and Dhark. After a while I realized what we got was better. Of course they would hate each other, and of course they would also respect and admire each other.  It’s a little detail I’ve noticed in all the Arrowverse shows.  While there

When I see a few of the people on Cameo I think to myself something like Dick Van Dyke? Cool that he’d do that” because know he’s not out there because he’s desperate or being taken advantage of. A few of them are even doing it for charity.

But man so much of it just makes me depressed. Of course multimillionaire

Ok, I take that point back. It’s not completely fair of me to sit here and criticism something I can’t do (really, I’ve apprenticed sound design and was awful at it). Since writing my post I found a very thoughtful discussion between sound engineers who have worked with SNL over on Reddit, and it seems it really is

I kinda love that David Byrne and John Mulaney are a bit of a thing. They have an equal “cool guy but still a dork” quotient.

The sound of musical guests on SNL is frequently terrible, and I don’t get it. They have a week to get it right. Shows like Colbert manage to do it in a day. But you can’t say not sounding good is on the artist when SNL screws it up

reccommended” house size for a family of 3 has bloated to absurdity

No. It’s presenting facts and allowing you to make your own opinion. This is not an editorial, it’s reportage. Years of cable news means you don’t know the difference.

Considering how much time I wander parking lots it’s Dude, Where’s My Car?

This movie is going to do fine, even though the toxic nerd brigade will say it failed. A $20mil opening doubles it’s budget, and in Hollywood everything is about box office (and ancillaries) in relation to budget.

I will never not enjoy a Grodd episode. The janky special effects (Solovar, at times, looked like he was imported from the original Tomb Raider) are a feature not a bug. This episode did a great job with his powers. You don’t need to show him, just show him take over other people. His power is mind control after all.

The core group has felt ragged for a while now. I’m fine with changes but post-crisis Flash seems to be giving a lot of actors days off for narratively dubious reasons.

Oh, this kind of stupid is exactly what I want from Flash episodes and something they lost since about midway in season 2. I’m always happy to see the silver age crazy done in a more serious tone than Legends (which i adore).

All about my personal life comedy isn’t new.

My friend and I do single rider lines even though we are in a group. It works best on the two roller coasters where it’s offered, especially Everest. There it can cut a 45 minute to about 15. Rock N’ roller Coaster is ok, but you mostly skip the outside line so use the length of that to judge if it’s worth it.

It is,

“As Long as You Love Me” by the Backstreet Boys. That dude is so codependent.  He has clearly fallen for the first girl that said she likes him and will loose it if she breaks up with him.

God, thank you. It’s the ultimate creepy “why don’t girls like me, I’m such a Nice Guy” album. I could handle that if it was at lease a little perceptive or

Weezer in general is a band with one great album, then maybe 7 good songs spread across the other 13.

I look forward to the day when Dowd reads something like “You may remember Friday Night Lights, but the sports drama has really made little cultural impact...”
