My current favorite dad joke to play is looking for a Beetabega fajita-on-a-pita when I go to a Mexican restaurant.

I believe he will say that they are loosing $7billion a day but we are only loosing $5billion a day so winning! Then Mexico will do something symbolic like send a small group of armed guards to an empty area of the boarder, he’ll say they did something major because he’s awesome, and “winner winner chicke diner own

I’m a teacher. I’d have stood up, shouted “what the fuck” and told everyone on the other side of the door that they are basically doing mock executions so that you “know what it feels like.” I’d have sued the living hell out of the police department. The ACLU would have a field day with this. I like my job, but not

I felt bad for Nora, but the cast really sold their feelings of betrayal. Barry was completely justified putting her in the Pipeline.

Cisco is totally taking the cure.

Other Revenue is the big moneymaker for most films. They made 9 Madea films because of the money from “Other Revenue Streams.” Madea’s Big Happy Family cost 25 million to produce, made 57million at the box office, and didn’t turn a profit there. Yet it’s made enough from streaming, DVD/Blue-ray sales, and licensing

I’m surprised more people haven’t picked up on that. It’s almost exactly the length of a series of television. We are at Episdoe 22 - the season finale. Age of Ultron -> Civil War was basically the midseason cliffhanger with everyone splintering.

I’m sure to an extent it does. You can’t do many of those Silver Age powers without a huge budget. They’ve even said they’d love to have more Gordd, even an Grodd-centric season, but the budget makes that impossible.

I in no way denigrate them. They do great work with what budget they have, which is less than the budget of Fraiser.

More of this Silver Age lunacy was the promise of the first season. Golden Glider! Pied Piper! Captain Cold and Heatwave! The Atom! Firestorm! Plastique! Mist! The Trickster (freaking Mark Hammil)! They even brought out the Clock King.  Then they thought they needed to get dourly serious and it all went to heck.

I was very pleased with the sub-Asylum shark v. gorilla effects. If they had done psychic gorilla v. man-shark with much more realism it would have ruined some of the cheeseball joy.  These effects will not age well, thank goodness!

For a certain, not small subset he did.

It was kind of accurate, but there wasn’t enough NY State Lottery scratchy tickets or any prepaid phone cards at all.

So by that you mean to say... he’s incredibly funny?

I kinda want to see them go on tour with Metallica. They can bill it as the “music nerd rage” tour. The front of the audience can be reserved for people who still appreciate them. A section in the in the back for people to mill around and complain about the new stuff.

Your counterpoint is that Disney, a company who’s reputation is that they always play it too safe, went into a multi-billion dollar trilogy by deciding to ditch the expanded universe and George Lucas’ original plan because they thought “eh let’s wing it.”

Disney.

They had a plan and no way did The Last Jedi end up anywhere other than where Disney wanted it. This is Disney we’re talking about here.

I’m of the opinion that they had to pull down the old guard to ever be able to move forward in the series.

He’s announced plans to do this at Disney on Ice, so he is only goal is trolling them for publicity for a crappy online “conservative bro” show. He’s also trying to get a bunch of people to hold Trumptastic Days at Disney World on May 9-12.

The caddy is very important to a golfer. They provide suggestions, consultations, and take care of the equipment. When a golfer changes regular caddies it’s a big deal. This man helped the golfer win.

Also, next time ask if your waiter is the regular one or filling in. If if it’s a fill in don’t tip. Clearly doesn’t

Yeah, you are right though. I can dream.

And I will cop to Detective Monkey being more of a Legends thing so they can have him.  They’d totally make it work, too.

I am getting a little annoyed by the Thawne part of the plot. It falls into the “character keeps a major secret from everyone” trope that this show seems to always do and I’m so, so tired of. I hope it’s justifiable by the end.

Seems like everything about the show is leading up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. I hope
