See I don’t know if it is a setup for a character. The Doctor, from what we know, was an orphan and felt like an outcast so he ran away in his shiny box. In her mind she’s still that outcast orphan.

You can’t show a Crisis on Infinite Earths in season one and not deploy it later in the series, although if they run through it as fast as they ran through Flashpoint I’ll be extremely cheesed off.

We’ll see the TARDIS. They’ve already leaked clips of the new one. If they were going to avoid it all season we wouldn’t have a single look at it because you know the austerity driven BBC wouldn’t have built a whole set yet.

I wish “introduction” episodes were not so iffy, but I guess that’s almost an unofficial tradition. It often takes about 3 episodes for the series to get it’s feet under itself. The only one who came out almost just right was Tennant - and the stories were not great.
