I guess these people aren't aware that the LAST thing anyone wanted to do at CB's was eat? I didn't even trust the taps.

I very much like this idea. Except for the part where Mike blows Hanzee's brains out.

Exactly. It's 1979, and Peggy's in a small town in the midWest. If it's anything like South Jersey where I grew up, the 60s and "women's lib" may as well have not happened. She wants a different life but doesn't know how. She can't look at the internet to see what's out there. It's no surprise she gloms onto a

Ooohhhh. :)

Where are you finishing Justified? Have they finally posted the final season?

He's also John Winchester, father of Sam and Dean.

No way Diane is older than 60. She's somewhere in her mid 50s, is my guess.

That's right, thank you! And hmmm, I'm liking that theory seed.

Excellent points! I can't remember, have we actually physically seen Cole in the future/present timeline?

Absolutely not. There are plenty of people who consciously choose to get married and to stay married. And yes, it's lots of work, but I think it's worth it with the right person who also thinks it's worth it. Characters like Alison and Noah could 100% have chosen to hook up with people who were not their spouses. So

Interesting take. But as an older woman, that can compound any feelings of jealousy toward the younger woman who is in that role now. Aging isn't easy (as Robert reminds us, but not in terms of how he perceives himself as a sexual being).

I was totally thinking that. The kid is Cole's.

We watch a few on Monday night, but that can even stretch into Tuesday night, now that Fargo is on Mondays!

The writing really wasn't very good!

Do yourself a favor and read the "Look inside" pages. A truly unique writing style.

I actually think he should submit this for a Guest Actor Emmy. He did a terrific job of building a layered character in under 90 minutes.

I have wondered that, about the reads! Sometimes when it's going off the rails, the narration comes back in like a jolt of coffee. So that's why. They can edit in more sober lines where they need them.

Check out Tremé. It's a fantastic show, and she is one of the leads. It's a slow burn but has some terrific music. It's basically a 5-season love letter to New Orleans, post-Katrina.

I'll go with the fiction defense. I'm from 1970, and Madison is a new-fangled name to me. Also, go Kim Dickens!

I too questioned Madison's name. I think Kim Dickens is around 40, so really she should be named Jennifer or Jessica or Lisa.
