A Trabant isn’t a soulful old car. It’s an environmental insult to engineering. These should be burned in effigy. It makes a Plymouth Horizon look like the Apollo program. This is where we roll up the paper and hit you on the nose, yelling “no, bad jalop”!

Until Union leadership is elected DIRECTLY by the rank-and-file, then they will continue to be corrupt. Union operations and expenditures must also be transparent to the members.

Australia has a Republic movement that wants to replace the next Monarch with a President as head of Government. Canada should consider this.

I’ve never understood American’s fascination with the windsors. The very thought of birthright entitlement in the 21st century is abhorrant. It doesn’t matter if the titles carry no real power. It’s not charming to be born with government-funded wealth and title. It will be interesting if Australia becomes a Republic

I found this generation really connected design-wise. It’s competitors really looked cheap by comparison. I bought a 1996 Mystique with a stick because it drove so much better than a MK3 Jetta. I almost traded it for the MK4 Jetta. Too soft in the corners killed it for me. I will say the MK7 Golf is also a style

Make sure you have Lindsey Buckingham’s Holiday Road on your playlist. I think it REALLY applies here!

Nothing worse than combining a hobby that I love with a political movement I detest. What next? Hitler’s Radwood?

Congratulations! You now have the unique distinction of being THE FIRST American to EVER to spend your months vacation in europe working on a 2nd generation Chrysler Minivan!!! FCA owes you the Mopar Radwood award for this. Great story, can’t wait to see how it ends.

During the 70's , there was a game show called Split Second with Tom Kennedy that ended with the winning contestant getting a key to try on one of five cars, They were usually Pontiacs and one of these boats was usually was there and rarely chosen.

This isn’t just about low sales on a model. VW is positioned wrong in N.A. and has been for decades. They should have brought in Skoda long ago, so VW isn’t positioned as the “leader” brand for VAG. VW doesn’t have leader models, so we get “Americanized” Passats and such. Then you have VAG cutting any product from

I agree, The 924 was a good clean ahead-of-its time design. By the time the 968 came, it looked like an in-bred dog though.

I grew up in rural Vermont in the 70's. I’m embarassed to say that there were no African-Americans and few Latino’s in my Elementary school or High School. Many of my teachers were former 60's hippies. I later felt the naive optimism that such social insulation provides.

It’s pretty easy to package something when the safety of it’s occupants is not aven considered. This came out in the 70's and was about as safe as a car from the 30's.

Wow, a lot better looking the the re-done Sienna. That van is ugly!

Any 90's Chevy Lumina. Rented one for a week’s vacation. Nothing but back pain all week.

There are certainly a few narrow minds here in the Maple Republic, but, it is still one of the most welcoming of states. When this story broke, there was a lot of Vermonters pissed that this happened. The state police is investigating and hopefully charges brought.

It’s not a good sign when your first decision as a parent is to name your child

People then only saw the proportions and the price. Then they drove it and discovered a vehicle that made a Plymouth Horizon feel like a Aston Martin.
