I have compared GTI’s since I was 20 and was only tempted to buy MK2 16v (passed because I needed to tow), and a MK6(Bought a Mazda6). The MK7 finally crossed the super line for me and I bought. Best car I have ever owned. It does everything well and has the best steering balance I have seen. Still, That MK2?
