I bought a 2010 Panamera S last month for $16,500... So far nothing wrong but sway bar links (like$130). I was expecting to shell out $5,000 in initial maintenance, only to be extremely surprised! Wish me luck lol ... So far a blast to drive (also the only panamera with 50/50 weight distribution... All 4 wheel drive

What kind of crack were the smoking when they thought: “Let’s go through the trouble of swapping a 300 horse V8 from an american car brand into this awesome car, but let’s give it an awful truck transmission”

Absolutely no, never, not once.

Strange anecdote,

Reading the comments makes me not believe that the readers of jalopnik are even proper car people.

Looks like the bones of the panamera lol.

It looks like it’s trying a little to be hard to be fancy. When Lexus entered the market in the 90's, they weren’t excessive or flashy, they were understated and well made. I’m glad you say this because it drives the prices down on truly incredible cars. I have a lotus Esprit turbo, a benz 190e, a 240sx, and a honda civic. The honda has been the most expensive car to maintain by a very large margin. Anecdotal sure, but ultimately, cars are just cars. If you drive them hard, expect to pay

Not many sedans make you feel as special as the Stinger though. I drove one last weekend, I’m constantly driving Amgs, RS and M cars; those cars are better. However, certainly not $10-30k better. The experience in the stinger, the looks it gets from bystanders, and the feeling you get while driving it, out weigh any
