i misread and thought you suggested using a bungee cord, and had pictures of a DSLR slingshot flying through the air.

Seriously, who would put frames on their site?

Here is a short feature about the movie that CBS's Sunday Morning show did on Birdemic about a year ago:

One of the prime time news shows (dateline, 20/20, nightly news) did a story on the creator of this movie a few months ago. The guy is for real. He really set out to tell a story about pollution and how it will turn birds evil. He did all of his special effects using iMovie or something like that. AWESOME.

careful, i got suspended for bringing up how short the articles have been since the redesign.

in the slide show, it clearly said iOS 4.3 for iPhone (GSM). you didn't need to go Apple's site to see if it was available for Verizon's iPhone....

@hurbieta: Many of the off brand tablets don't include the market.

@nandreetta: Yeah, its a Rokkor. I have it on my Sony NEX. I'm still getting used to using it on this sensor, but having a lot of fun practicing.

@mer7: whoops, meant f:1.4. I wish I could afford a 1.2 lens haha.

Uggh, just got a new (well, old SLR minolta lens) f:1.2 lens last night. VERY shallow DOF and produces some great bokeh. Wish I would have ordered it a bit earlier. My kit lens produces very boring bokeh.

@cxwong: The source article gives a few more examples.

@Daedalus256: The report says Shady Ave. but it the cameraman is filming from Morrowfield and Murray ave, kind of right on top of the Sq. Hill tunnels. I was on the bus going down Murray ave. when this was going on. Pretty crazy

nit picky, but Squirrel Hill is actually a neighborhood in the city itself, not a suburb. Also, I saw this going down while I was riding the bus in to work yesterday. It gets pretty crazy on some of those hills.

@ted.pro: Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but you've heard wrong.

@nephuxs: The clock/weather widget in the screenshot is called "fancy widget" if I remember correctly. They used to have an app on the market, until HTC sued to have it removed. You could probably google around to find the .apk for download.

@Erik The Red: Can I ask why you have no interest in rooting your phone? The rooting process itself poses little to no danger to your phone/warranty. Even if you don't want to run a custom ROM, at least you could get rid of bloat that the carriers are starting to put on android phones.

@Zaos: Star Wars isn't about "the fights."

@Zaos: Star Wars isn't supposed to be about "the fights."

@mykalt45: a standard definition, high definition TV?
