Dragon Quest IV and VII are just a nightmare if you don’t remember what you were doing. VII sorta added hints by talking to your party members, but between the time travel and the shard pieces I screwed up a 70 hour save and had to start over.  Also I put down Wild Arms for several months and got super lost.  Maybe I

I live in a city in California that’s now about 60% asian. About half the people I’ve ever known were Chinese, Vietnamese, or Filipino. I grew up here and all my friends grew up here and it’s all we’ve ever known. For the most part, it’s a great melting pot, but I’ve seen a couple particular kinds of racism here:

Some

None of these people are ever sorry for what they did, they’re just sorry they got caught.

This is a weird choice on several levels, but I’m always happy to see new arcade releases! I wonder if surviving arcades will have a bit of rebound in the after times.  We just got a Big Al’s, maybe they’ll pick this up

Valve had a card game?

I got a PS2 pretty late, around when Dragon Quest 8 came out (2005?), and it’s still one of my favorite consoles of all-time. I bought a Japanese model a couple years later for Beatmania IIDX, which I played pretty much daily for a few years.  When Free McBoot became a thing I nabbed a fat PS2 fairly cheap and now

What exactly do you expect to accomplish here?

Pfft.  Why even bother Cyberpunking if you can’t bang Keanu^H^H^H^H^HJohnny Silverhand

She’s probably old and rich enough she could successfully pull off emancipation

This is a terrible post.

Did we?

I’m enjoying the cooler weather, but then i remember it’s because my state is covered with smoke from an unprecedented fire season.  While hiding in my room with an air purifier I’ve been replaying Half-Life 2 tho, and that reminds me the skies could be worse!

I think cost of cartridges probably had a lot to do with it. Game code and assets can be somewhat reused, and development teams still gain experience when a game is cancelled.  Cartridges could be pretty expensive tho, and that’s a good place to cut losses if they thought a game wouldn’t do well.

I hope all the employees get snapped up by better companies. I’ve worked for enough startups to know how much damage one primadonna dev can do. It’s no fun.

I want them to show off shots of levels that won’t be in the final movie, never comment on them, and then leak a beta cut fifteen years later

This happened on one of my spare batteries about four years ago.  I have a high capacity one in my 3000 that’s still unexploded and functional thankfully.

Now playing

Nintendo did release an announcement trailer for it on Youtube a couple months ago. I imagine we’ll get a launch video in the next few days

The original Harvest Moon was for SNES. The GBA had Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (boy lead) and More Friends of Mineral Town (girl lead). They were their own separate games and didn’t use the town or characters from the SNES version
