I suspect this an artifact of running continuous integration to make sure the engine would be compatible with both platforms. At a certain complexity of software, it can be easier to develop the engine on multiple platforms simultaneously than it is to play catch up later. This probably was for the benefit of code…

I hope they bring back Pinball!  I had Pinball, Baseball, Heavy Barrel, and Batman growing up, but Pinball was the one I kept going back to.

There was some C64 adventure game i played where if you dug up a grave, you’d wake up a ghost that would randomly fly across the screen and interrupt your last action. It didn’t seem to hurt you, but it would just silently fly by and it really freaked me out as a kid

I got these 11" storage cubbies from target, and then made some extra shelves with MDF and wood glue. I cut the back out one storage cube to hide all the power strips. Unfortunately, these are too small for a Fat PS2, PS3, or PS4. Target does have 13" storage cubbies which might juuuust be enough.

Worth noting that Gargoyle’s Quest 2 was a direct sequel on NES. Great game!

This is absolutely the best way to introduce people to Lizzo, it’s just such an amazingly personal set

They had this at Milpitas Golfland.  I was enamoured with it as a kid, even though it barely worked unless you caught it at the right angle.

Okami... Went to multiple gamestops to hunt it down when it came out for PS2... then repurchased for PS3... then repurchased for Switch.  Still such a good game!
