He has the bumper for the rear, for some reason he just liked it better off the car. There’s a decent amount of cash into this thing. The paint probably cost a pretty penny by itself.

Yeah, unless they included a new hood and fenders with the kit, the lights had to be that low. they’d look better up higher with a crisper fender line. It’s the “droop” that looks weird.
Some people like it. I’m not one of them, but they are out there. It isn’t my style, but if you are willing to pay for it, and it makes you happy, go for it. There are far more offensive things you can do to a miata.
This is the kind of jalopnik we need right now. Godspeed, Mr. Tracy... Godspeed.
That pit crew body kit is exceptionally rare, and sometimes sells for the price of this car by itself.
This is such a feel good article. Thank you.
Enjoy every sandwich, friend.
The first thing I thought of after reading the headline was the old Monty Python Spanish Inquisition bit.
Probably the reason the wankel engined Mazdas never sold well in the UK
Mazda had a BJ engine too! It was in the festiva.
This is a vehicle for a gentleman of fine taste, at a price that is agreeable to most. NP
I have a soft spot for the King Cobra. They’re wonderful and awful all at once, in a completely period correct way.
I’ve been on the roadmaster hunt too. Prices of those things have darn near doubled in the last two years. The secret is out. They are rock solid reliable and a great family hauler, even 20+ years later
A vista cruiser is on my list of wagons to own. I’d settle for an f85 custom cruiser though. Or a Kingswood. Or an LTD Country squire/Colony Park. Or......... Yeah pretty much any full sizer from 66 to 73!
I wouldn’t buy this, but this is the kind of mad science I’d like to rent for an afternoon. This thing has to be a hoot.
You’re on the right track.. This one is an F85 (the non-vista wagon on the cutlass chassis) which is 204.2 long and 75 inches wide. So she’s 10 inches longer and 1 inch wider. That’s a lot closer than I had expected.
I hope that bassline is real and not from a machine. If it is, that guy has some SERIOUS funk
You speak the truth. I grew up on Chaves bakery Portuguese Bread. That stuff makes the BEST toast in the morning.
Cheers to this guy. Instead of waiting around for someone to make what he wanted, he said screw it and made it himself. Darn good job of it too.
I wish my workplace was this cool and had fantasy food drafts.
