I did not. It was a friend of mine’s, and he bought it new back in 2006. It had about 13k miles on it at the time I drove it. It had an odd dark blue leather interior, and the seats were already starting to crack and wear at 13k miles. I wasn’t terribly impressed by it.

European safety standards are different, so I would imagine the designs are different as well. I know a lot of the seats are also built for compatibility with public transit in mind, so I’d imagine they’d be more portable and not as bulky.

See you on the other side, friend. Thanks for being a great EIC in our weird community here. Best of luck to you at *site redacted but it rhymes with “the hive”*

The creator of this truck must have an absolutely thunderous mullet.

The 6 does have more rear legroom. The CX5 doesn’t really offer too much of an upgrade to the 3 in that department.

I’ll mildly dispute the Mazda 3 hatch. It depends on how many people are riding in it. With a rear facing car seat, the front passenger cannot possess legs. I had to jack the front passenger seat almost all the way forward in my 3 hatch in order to fit a rear facing seat in there. Forget about putting it behind the

I’m glad I’m not the only one who was thoroughly unimpressed with the S60R. The clutch was diabolically awful, the ride was terrible, and the interior leather wore out way too quickly.

This car is a great bad idea. Oh my.

We seriously looked at one when my wife’s outback decided it was going to become a subaru and started being a maintenance pig.

Just don’t eat your cheesy blasters with a side of Sabor de Soledad cheese puffs. That secret ingredient....

Yeah, and I can’t drink regular coke. It tastes way too sweet to me. Even with a bit of coffee to balance out the sweetness, I still think I’d have a problem finishing that beverage.

It’s not a matter of “how does it fit” it is more a matter of taste. As someone else mentioned, that is 20% sugar by volume. That seems obscene on paper.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around a half cup of sugar in a 20oz beverage. That’s gotta be like drinking straight syrup.

Yeah, I saw that tweet over the weekend and that’s the reasoning behind my comment. ‘Tis a sad day indeed. Bernot left The Takeout as well. Last one out turn off the lights.

I feel like every day I jump onto a GMG site, I see another tremendously talented individual leave. I started reading the takeout because of your columns. One day I noticed a beer related headline whilst cruising Jalopnik, and that’s all it took. Your columns were insightful and informative, and I hope I can read them

Geez. The rebellion is starting already, and you aren’t even out the door yet!

Geo tracker.... dragster.... two things I’d never think to combine. That sounds like an either really entertaining or really dangerous combination. Probably both.

Did the folks who designed the front of this vehicle consult the people who designed the rest of it?

It is never a bad day for some talking heads. Well done sir.
