I never much cared for these either. I’m sure there are redeemable qualities, but I never really understood these or the C230K that came out not too long after this.

The Mustang doesn’t have tremendous visibility either. With that said, I have driven both and visibility wouldn’t be in my top five reasons to take the Mustang. That’s extremely subjective though, so my preferences may not translate to everyone else. I liked the interior, the styling, the ride, and the sound in the

A Pagani Huayra is also difficult to see out of.

I remember being at a track day and seeing a guy towing a 911 GT3 in an enclosed trailer with one of these. That guy knew what was up.

Yeah, it’s the Ford T3 platform which is a slightly modified version of the F150 chassis.

In my mind I see Suburbans and Expeditions doing that rather than a Navigator. I’m sure I could be surprised though. I’m sure someone out there is using the towing capacity of the Navigator.

Hilariously I’ve been to one party where they did that. The kid’s birthday was on cinco de mayo. There was a taco bar and margaritas for the adults.

Which is probably a fair criticism, all things considered. I just chose to use humor to respond. In reality, most of that post is not inaccurate. My wife hates car shopping and I love it, so I did the majority of the homework and most of the leg work on the vehicles. Ultimately when we buy cars (mine or hers) if she

Absolutely! The reason I mentioned towing was because the two vehicles are different brackets when it comes to towing. Minivans are typically in the 3500lb range, where the Durango can do 6000lbs and in some cases 8700lbs.

Found the grammar teacher!

I pulled a deposit and went to a different dealer for this exact reason back in April. The salesman was talking down to my wife the entire time, despite me saying this was going to be her primary vehicle. She went over the next day to do some paperwork and he basically ignored her for a half and hour and asked

Oh man.. Good friends of mine had a gladiator chevy conversion van very similar to this. That nostalgia is going straight into my blood stream. We figured out how to hook up a sega genesis to the back of the TV in the middle of the front seats. Epic road trips.

I’d imagine there is an underlying reason though... “Just doesn’t want one” is usually followed up with a “because.”

If folks ask for car buying advice, ignore it, and then complain about things they were warned about, they deserve snark.
