I was surprised to learn this thing still rides on a variant of the good ol’ GM U platform which goes all the way back to the Aztek and even further back to the dustbuster vans.

For now. I’m not closing the door permanently, but after two straight suffering the similar fates, I’m probably going to take a break from subarus for a while. I have nothing against Subaru and I generally like their stuff, but to say that there isn’t disappointment would be lying.

Mileage was too high so they weren’t offering much in the way of help. I got offered 10k for a trade so I threw the keys and ran. I haven’t seen it resurface yet, and it’s been a few weeks, so presumably it’ll pop up at auction somewhere.

You must be the ying to my yang. I’ve had two straight scoobers that dropped a transmission at 100k. The most recent one (a ‘13 outback) developed a healthy appetite for oil as well. The fozzer didn’t.

I guess this would fall under “everything that could go wrong probably has” at the current mileage total.

She’s a teacher and likes the CrossCabriolet? Irreconcilable differences shouldn’t be too hard to prove. Good luck sir.

I’d say the 37 nice price votes are all the people who actually bought these travesties, but that would imply that 37 were sold.

Very similar styling.. I had to do a double take to make sure it was an Opel rather than a Graham.

I wonder why that’s dubbed a super six. That’s totally an Opel Kapitan.

This is the correct comment. *rocks the F out*

Beat me to it. It looks like a panoramic shot gone wrong.

The engine, even in the overdrive fifth gear, emits a constant gravely growl, like what you might imagine a warewolf with a clothespin accidentally clipped to his scrotal sac might sound like. Nonstop.

Surprised they didn’t sell this in the USA as the chess king edition.

7-11 stepped up their coffee game a few years ago. It is seriously not bad. I’d take it over anyone on the list here.

My exact reaction..... Karma Revero, for the man who believes a Tesla is too well crafted and reliable.
