One minor correction.. There was a company in Danbury called Farnbacher Loles. They’ve since been closed due to the owners being scam artists.

In the northeast, discounts can be had on these things like crazy. They tend to sit on dealer lots for a LONG LONG time.

Almost sounds like the Action Express livery a bit ago, even though it appeared at neither Lime Rock nor on the 4th of July.

I’m a bit surprised this isn’t in Philadelphia/South Jersey. There’s a lot of weird Subarus chugging around that region due to Subaru’s North American HQ residing there.

This guy doesn’t know how to write a craigslist ad. He really should have played up the Tercel’s ability to be a submarine. I know a picture is worth a thousand words... But c’mon people.. We’ve got a rare amphibious Tercel here!

I will now start calling avocados “pastefruit”

I haven’t had it in about two years. It was so bad at that point that I couldn’t take it anymore and stopped going.

I’m sure. They tend to be rather stout, so they go for a long time as well. They aren’t really my style though. If I were going for a lux barge, they’d probably be my first stop though... Either that or I’d just say screw it and get an avalon and blend into the vast grey expanse.

BK is tied with Chik Fil A for having the worst coffee for a fast food place that serves breakfast. It’s just.. Bad. It’s a shame.. I do get a craving for a croissandwich on occasion.

I’m getting lazier as I age. My first reaction was “I wonder how much it would cost to gut the suspension and return it to stock.”

All hail Saint Dale. May you go forth and intimidate. Boogity boogity boogity, amen.

Katzkin used to do a full Rawlings edition Silverado. The TT looks nicer though.

I’m not a Patriots fan and I live in New England. I go grocery shopping during Pats games all NFL season.. It is glorious.

With ford making ST versions of everything and Dodge cramming hemis into every SUV possible, this wouldn’t be as outlandish of an idea as people might think.

Once again you are on target. I seriously considered a Taurus SHO until I sat in the back of one. It is so cramped back there and it was useless for child seats. It makes me miss the ubiquitous panther platform vehicles. *runs to ebay to look for country squire wagons for the 38th time this week*

I feel like this needs to be a reality show. David has $4000 to buy some dilapidated heap with unobtanium parts, and get it running and driving in three months for some grueling road trip.

This is the correct response

I do not, sadly. It’s on my list of cars I’d like to own one day.

The OG foresters kept that dream alive for a while. I had a base base base base base base model 2004 with a 5 spd and it did the trick. I kept it around until it blew the syncros on 2nd and 5th and I didn’t want to drop in a new tranny or rebuild the current.

I’m tempted to say “he’s only 33" but he also debuted as a 19 year old back in 2005. He’s been in the league going on 14 years now. That’s a long time for a guy that threw smoke like he did. He had a great run and was wildly entertaining to watch. I was hoping he’d be able to hang on as a setup man or a hired gun in
