New Belgium’s collaboration with Clutch was pretty successful. It was a really unique beer with a lot going for it. It was pretty complex to unpack and there were a ton of flavors that popped up throughout an average sip.

AAA offices that do license renewals are a GODSEND. Prior to going through the oddly obfuscated process of getting antique plates for my older car, I hadn’t been to a DMV branch in a decade because of AAA.
This is an extremely valid point. Kind of worrying about the paint color on the crown molding when the house isn’t even framed yet, isn’t it?
It is hit or miss. Even the traditionally “reliable” brands have their hiccups. I had a first year redesign Honda Fit, and that vehicle was an unmitigated disaster. Consumer Reports loved it. All the rags loved it. It had a high level of owner satisfaction. Seemed like a sure bet.
It has a certain charm. When I was 18 that blazer was hot stuff. Now I look at it and it’s more “oh late 90's/early 00's chevy... you do you..”
Doesn’t seem that long ago does it? In the 90's it seemed like everyone in my neighborhood had a 1st gen Concorde or an Intrepid in their garage. There were a few eagles in the mix, but far less common. 25 years later, I hardly see Intrepids or Concordes of any vintage roaming around. A guy in my town keeps an…
The ZR2 was badass and a TON more useful in the Northeast.
Nah.. Older than 25 years is not too bad. The two branches near me are horrifyingly bad though. 45 minutes before the place opens, the line is wrapped two times around the building. At least one of them has a coffee shop nearby that the line usually almost extends all the way out to.
Adult me still holds a certain nostalgia for them, but I don’t think it is strong enough to get one. High school me wasn’t blazed out, he just was a sucker for crummy body kits, apparently.
You’d still have to go to a DMV branch to get the thing on the road though. Kiss 4 hours of your life minimum goodbye.
High school me wanted a yellow blazer xtreme. Badly.
I gave it a NP. It’s a car in great shape with 65k miles for under 3 grand, and likely one of the nicest examples still in circulation.
I saw a Plymouth Laser on my way to work a few days ago. I don’t even recall seeing any of those on the roads new. I generally only saw the Talons and the Eclipses. The one I saw was a FWD turbo too. I especially don’t remember many of those!
Easy mistake to make. Heck, I forget that Eagle had non Mitsu products too. Most of Eagle’s lineup throughout it’s short history consisted of DSM products. The Eagle Wagon, Premier, Medallion, and Vision were the only non DSMs. Even then, the Eagle Wagon was a holdover from AMC, the Premier and Medallion were…
Folks, I think we’ve hit “Nicest one left” with this car.
This isn’t a DSM though.... This was a homegrown chrysler product.
I used to have to go there for work once a week and I dreaded it each time. Partially because each time I knew my coworkers up in that office would eventually take me to Jake and Joes for some reason. Somebody left the company? Jake and Joes. Lunch outing? Jake and Joes. Happy hour? You guessed it. I swear to god my…
Both of my stories unsurprisingly come from Massachusetts.
I would buy the everloving hell out of this.
That’s on a different level of cool. The XKE is a bucket list car for a staggering majority of gearheads out there!
