I know cosmetically it isn’t much different from a regular 7 series, but man does this thing look stately. I’m suddenly not caring too much about the giant nostrils anymore.

I sat in this thing at a blipshift event. It’s such a wild vehicle. The weirdness is off the charts. The blipshift guys were really cool about letting folks tour the vehicle. They had the spirit of lemons speedycop car there too!

It took  3 minutes for an LS swap comment. Seems about right. Jalopnik is on target this Monday morning.

I know the early versions of that 6 cylinder leaked like crazy and were a pain in the balls to fix. The bottom end of that engine looked like an MC Escher drawing. I don’t know if they improved during their lifespan, but I opted for the 4cyl in our outback vs the 6. Cost wasn’t the issue either. You pay a severe

Hitchhikers reference and a kinja handle referencing a guilty pleasure movie. You sir, are interneting on a pro level.

Unintended acceleration and electrical gremlins would be rather on brand for VAG.

Justin,

The problem is the price point though. It is more expensive in most trims than a 3, and priced not far off from a CX5. I can understand it if you live in a city and parking is tough, having the smaller package is useful, but other than that, I’m out of ideas. The Fiesta, Spark, and 2 were all vastly less expensive

That would be dreadful with car seats. It’s tight with rear facing seats in my 3 hatch. I can’t imagine making that narrower and shorter.

In the sense that they make something that’s actually useful and fills a purpose, unlike the CX3, yes.

It actually is smaller than the 3. It is narrower and the 3 has more room in the back. I have a 3 hatch, not upset I didn’t get a CX3

I’m glad other folks are getting as much of a kick out of that as I am. I googled “eagle vision engine” and that was the best result for many reasons. The lumber prop was the clincher.

I hope it is the new CX3. I’m not a huge fan of the current one. It just seems too small to be really useful, yet it carries a premium pricetag.

They crammed a 3.5 v6 in there and it looks pretty tight, but with some finagling it can probably be done.

I was a hater of electric cars until I drove a tesla p90d. Hooooooly hell did that open my eyes.

You..... You have tremendous ideas.

The problem with that is they don’t work well together. Clinsight? Insarity? Maybe we should shorten it. Clight... No.... Inity? Nah that doesn’t work either. We might need to throw another Honda model in there for a viable name. Let’s go with the Prelude.

I’ve got the perfect place. Supercharged Karting in Montville CT. Full bar, food, and the largest indoor go kart track in the world.

Well I’m not a fancy law type.... But if he was at the airport, parked at the airport, and knew exactly where to return to when he heard there was a fire, chances are pretty good he drove himself there. It isn’t impossible, it is plausible that a friend dropped him off and took a bus home, but the simplest explanation

I came here for the CT comment fest. Left satisfied. I’m in NL County and I also drink.
