No, not one bit. The thing is though, it doesn’t really matter where the car is built if sales are sluggish. If people don’t want and don’t buy compact sedans, the assembly point is a moot point. You have to build what will sell. If the Cruze were 18k vs say 24k because of steel tariffs, I am not sure people would

That makes sense. Clearly I’m not an investor so I haven’t heard of this situation before.

GM’s shares were stopped ahead of the news.

But moving that car, the Chevrolet Cruze, south of the border brings the risk of provoking a backlash from President Donald Trump. And GM also isn’t sure whether he’ll make good on threats to impose 25 percent tariffs on vehicles imported from Canada and Mexico.

That’s a bit surprising. Around here I see a ton of these things. I suppose New England buys a disproportionate number of them.

The Camry Tall Wagon was a great underappreciated vehicle. My in laws still have one and it is magnificent.

I hope this thing makes it to market and it isn’t vaporware. I kinda dig the 80's movie prediction of 2020 styling.

It’s neat, and certainly unique.. I’m not sure a modern Audi is something I want to play the swap game with. It feels like that’s just asking for trouble.

That’s the only curious decision. Plenty of injected windsors are out there for cheap. I guess this guy wanted to old school it.

Curious what your logic is on that one. BPs are pretty stout and difficult to kill unless you mod the crap out of it and try to push too much power.

Rude Negro, always bringin’ the truth.

This is an insanely cheap price for a v8 converted Miata. 100% nice price!

I was today years old when I found out that jodhpurs was a word.

I actually... Kinda like it.

I actually saw a Borrego in the wild the other day. I should have bought lottery tickets.

Pretty much. Out here 4 door wranglers sell to suburban moms like hotcakes. It is incredible.

Yup. Not that far off sadly. A Taco or Colorado puts you in similar territory. A high 40's midsize truck is the norm.

The only problematic issue is going to be the price tag. I bet you these things start in the 40's and go in the 60's loaded.

I’m not going to pretend I don’t want this thing.

What’s the furthest from Jalop HQ you guys would travel for an official event? There is what claims to be the world’s largest indoor multi level go kart track in Eastern CT, and it is just screaming for a Jalopnik Staff Kart-a-palooza.
