I really hope you didn’t just google “scribble signature” and actually put the effort in to making this graphic on a wacom tablet. That would completely make my day if you actually created this

A quick bit of googling reveals that this guy rides around for charity and performs on the bike. The org is called Heartbeat Riders of America and the bike is called Iron Thunder. He raises money for heart disease prevention.
And he showed up as the Cardinal in Dogma. That was my favorite George irony of all time.
Yeah, he got hit or miss towards the end. You either got a show with him that was retrospective and slightly optimistic, kinda like he knew his number was up and he was looking back on things, or you got viciously cranky and crusty Carlin. I saw both versions. Your experience sounds like the first option, but if you…
As long as there are politicians, we will need George’s humor to aid us with coping.
I didn’t even know this vehicle existed. It has the weird factor and I’m sure someone on Vortex or Samba is drooling over this thing right now. It’ll sell.
So, original list price on them was $13,258, which adjusted for today’s money is just around 28 grand. You are close. That’s not STI money right now, but it is base WRX money.
These things are a scream. The trouble is finding one these days. Time wasn’t kind to them. They were cheap enough to be thrashed, rare enough that there weren’t many to begin with, and old enough that time and neglect have chewed up a bunch of them.
I never want to go on a cruise. I can’t think of any worse than being confined to a large boat with several thousand other gross people with the only entertainment options being pools, shopping, some forms of ziplining and climbing walls, and getting drunk off of well booze at premium prices.
So I’m biting the bullet and test driving it this afternoon after work.
I would completely rent this for an afternoon on Turo.
I would drive the everloving crap out of that
Well.... If you can max one out at 33k presently, add 2k to it and you are at 35.. Not too far off.
You are dead on, Tom. The high end 6's are going for low 30's right now. It wouldn’t be all that much of a leap to think that an awd turbo 6 would go for 35k (I’m thinking Fusion Sport MSRP territory). Mazda would sell officially 4 of the manual transmission variants and it wouldn’t be worth the R&D. I’m a manual…
It’s worth 1 and a 1/16th and not a penny more!
That speedster does bad things to me. I wonder how much I can get on the black market for a well vetted high functioning liver.
I wanted to like the Karma badly. It was such a unique looking vehicle. There was nothing else that looked like it, for better or for worse. I found something charming in the design, mostly because of the elongated low slung form it took. I didn’t even mind the Snidely Whiplash moustache on the front. You are correct…
The big question for is, if FF is able to get a product to market, who realistically is going to want one? I likely would not be interested in buying a car from a company that has been on the verge of blinking out of existence for the better part of its history. I would need to them to prove they are a sustainable…
The 929/Luce and the 929/Sentia were cars that had features way ahead of their time. They never got the credit they deserved. They had speed sensitive steering and that cool solar vent system.
Bought continental winter contacts for my Mazda 3, I routinely spin the tires less than the wife’s outback on all season rubber.
