I saw your first link as “hot lick sex haust” and started wondering why you’d link everyone to a German brothel. I need more coffee. Or less. I’m not sure which.

I was Miata hunting at around the same time you were, orignally looking for an NB. I eventually ended up finding an NA in better shape cheaper than an equivalent NB1.

I hope they hit that level of insanity soon. I have a low miles 96 M Edition and would love to sell it for E30 money. Hell, I’d even take 10k for it right now and be overjoyed.

Sure it helps, but there are also plenty of rich kids out there who coast through life. It seems like she is taking advantage of her opportunities and working hard. Can’t fault her for that

I wish I had been as awesome as she is at 18.

DEAR GOD. SENDING HELP. HOLD ON ROB!!!!!

Rob..... Has Schrader got you tied up in a basement somewhere, and she is ghost writing your column today? Make more positive comments about 944s and we’ll send someone to rescue you. It’s OK.. Just pretend you like stuffed bunnies for a few more hours, and everything will be OK.

Makes you wonder what happened to the Funky Bunch. Marky Mark is still around.. But nobody ever talks about the Funky Bunch.

Between this and Robert Alon’s shenanigans, the Lexus team is quickly becoming the least liked team in the paddock. They’ve been making some criminally stupid moves on the track and have pissed off some of the most influential and popular team owners.

Holy crap. My in laws live five minutes from there. Thanks for the tip. I’ll be going for sure.

Um.. kind sir.. where in Farmington is this and can regular people like yours truly get in?

First 1500 anyway. I put the rest of the miles on.

The one time I tried to treat a rental car nicely, it betrayed me. I had a 2004 Nissan Xterra as a rental for a month. It was a bad vehicle in most metrics (13mpg in real life, uncomfortable, handled like garbage, and despite being large, had a surprisingly small interior) but I lived with it because hey, free car

Electric Big Rig is a really great name for a southern rock cover band.

Ah, missed the “non-Aero” part of your original post. Agreed though, Aero or not, white/beige is an unlikely combo for those years of Montes. High school me still wants a Monte Carlo SS. Prices had pretty much bottomed out on them when I was in high school. Even GN’s could be had for reasonable sums.

I’m glad that someone appreciates the 80's B body wagons aside from me. They are big and boxy, and not terribly stylish, but that just makes me love them more. I dig the Panther platform wagons of the same period too. I’ve been trying to source a late run Mercury Colony Park with the fuel injected 302 in it. It’s

White w/beige? That is an odd combo. The only white aeros I’ve seen have had the red interior. A guy in my town has one and brings it to cruise night. The one time I talked to him about his car, he was surprised that anyone actually knew what it was.

And now I want to go to Waffle House. Closest one is 200 miles away. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

The bubbleback Monte Carlos were very cool, and not terribly common. I liked the even less common Grand Prix 2+2 aerocoupe. They are both cool, but I’m not sure they are 19 grand for 180HP of malaise era GM cool.

Unlikely suggestion: Suzuki X90.
