The good news is that you can buy a 2001 740i Sport for less than $4000 in most places. It’s pretty easy to work on and parts are pretty cheap. When it’s that cheap, you can just learn to wrench on it without being afraid. I learned a lot about wrenching with my 2001 540i that I bought for like $1000 in the worst

Sometimes, but come on, he should well know that there will always be people trying to do one of the two thing:

You should never buy an old BMW if you can’t fix it yourself :P That’s the first thing I learned. I’ve been doing all my own engine work to keep costs down. I recently did a timing chain guide rebuild for my 540i’s engine, and the parts were like $600 total, as opposed to like $4000 to have a mechanic do the job.

Looks like he underestimated human stupidity.

Dammit!

it should!

As we suspected all along. Tire pressure was off.

The good news is you can still easily find a good oldschool BMW in the used market.

Losing its way.

Man, if your comment is to shit on another man’s pride and joy, you need to step up your comment game.

She did. They arrested her for arson because she lit it up with those hot moves.

Man. That ravioli with the magazines on the stove is so. fucking. good. That is a whole new level of trolling.

I can’t wait for the detailed explanation on how this monster could break free from its moorings.

If they really wanted to name it after a place of human suffering, they just should’ve left it named ‘Conference Room’.

Bugatti Veyron. Show it to pretty much any “regular” person and they’ll be all, “ooh, how cool!” But if you take a good look at it it’s actually kind of grotesque looking.

On Aeroflot, engine cools you!

Star Wars 1313, anyone?

There's a time and place for concepts like these. And in this case the time and place is in my driveway, right now.
