Happy Fathers Day Mike! It is my first Fathers Day. My son Oliver is 12 weeks old now!
Metroid is my favorite game series of all time. I’m a guy. I don’t need the character I’m playing as to represent my gender. That’s the point of the roleplaying.
This. Let the creator do whatever he wants. Nobody is being oppressed
I’m fully up for having female main-protagonists, but I see no reason for an existing and established character to have his gender changed just because #equality.
I wish, oh how I wish, that this game will be a proper Thousand Year Door sequel, but I’m not holding my breath — especially if they are refusing to show more after the initial trailer that basically indicated it would be following in Sticker Star’s footsteps.

Thanks for the counter-point and downright catty finish. You’re a fun read!
May have just found a summer time game for my little one. He loved Triple Deluxe and is getting ready to start his summer vacation.
Agreed. I know Patrick K. just bought a house. I think about my family and the thought of any sort of insecurity at a time like that is very nerve-racking.
Thanks to everyone who keeps reading and supporting Kotaku. We love you all.
