Per 4 sources at ford, they had massive vibration issues in developing that motor. It was making around 610HP, but reliability was worse that the Italians. Had to detune the motor to meet durability standards.
No flat plane crank. Too much vibration when you build large bore and stoke engines with a flat plane crank. Lots of reliability issues.

This is the perfect sleeper car to buy second hand. Crate motor, high quality aftermarket parts, solid chassis/body; and all this for half the price of the sum of the parts.
