The best:

Having gone back and played Tekken 2 yesterday, even this one series has come a long way in terms of character-control and the technical aspects of the fighting itself, which are what matter most in a fighting game It's a night and day comparison and hopefully with Tekken 7 being a new-consoles exclusive, we can

Don't forget the two Tag Tournament games too.

I recall the commentator saying during the Tekken rounds that there had been technical difficulties with the Injustice stream, so they couldn't switch to it once the Tekken had finished. Chances are it never got shown in the end.

2017: Battlebattle

I owned the game for my Commodore 64, but the tape would never load. :(

I watch anime, couldn't tell you the name of *any* One Piece character. It's the same as any other genre of TV, nobody's got the time to watch every single show.

I used to have an old 486/66mhz DOS/Windows 95 PC as a spare for playing really old games on until DOSBox and GoG came along. Could do the same for a Windows 7 PC, or perhaps by that time, there'll be Win7Box like DOSBox.

My backlog is a fool-proof plan to avoid boredom in retirement. Well, fool-proof except for the part where I'll look at my list of 300 games and go "Hmm...I don't think I'm in the mood for any of these".

Just looked up David Wain, didn't realise how much good stuff he's been behind in recent years. I'll have to check out the rest!

Sorry, as I said, I'm not a football-watcher so this is from an outsider perspective. There's been a lot more of a fuss made over the U.S. team this tournament in our media and from pundits on TV, so it certainly seemed that way.

I think the big thing this year, even as someone who doesn't watch football/soccer, is that it's apparent the USA have actually sent a halfway-decent team this tournament who gave it their all. From a European perspective, up until now it's seemed the U.S. participation in the World Cup has been a half-hearted measure.

Picking one that hasn't chosen yet by the looks of things:

One of my favourite albums of all time. It works just fine as an atmospheric rock album without having to be labelled as "Goth" and yet it can fit into that niche too.

My Sims 2 house had a bunch of TV/Film people, like Fox Mulder, Audrey Hepburn etc. One of them was Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek:TNG. The very first thing he did upon entering the new house was to make a beeline straight for the kitchen and set the microwave on fire.

He can be in charge of an entire interstellar

I won the Shop Contest once using nothing but MS Paint. So long as you can select, copy and paste, you're good to go.

Powerglide has a special place in my heart, as The Girl Who Loved Powerglide was the first Transformers VHS I ever owned as a child. May well have to pick this one up.

Thanks to the magic of second-hand toys, I had the plane part but not the tank.

Honestly, the only game that triggered absolutely no feelings of excitement was Dead Island 2. And that's mostly because I don't know why anybody is bothering to revisit such a predictable zombie game that's been dead in the water for a while now when its creator has moved on to one that already looks more interesting.
