Maybe they're going for a Pynchon-type thing?

Evangelical Christians will absolutely watch this in theaters with their church group, and then they will register on Disqus so they can complain that this site is biased against Christianity when some unlucky reviewer gives it a D.

The time has come.

But if you don't allow them on public lands, you're oppressing Christians' rights to spread their Christian message literally everywhere!

Kirk Cameron's mantra during the making of this film: What would Pauly Shore do?

They are! Throughout the 80s they were stuck in the 1950s, roughly a 30 year difference. But then they had picked up on rap music by the late 90s, only a 20 year lag or so. This poster is very late nineties. Could maybe pass for a legit movie poster in 1997 or 98- we could round it up to 99 and say they're only 15

I like the cut of your jib!

Evangelical Christians are always 15-20 years behind on the newest technology (and fashion and music, etc etc).

No reason you can't get hammered at the local megaplex. I've done it plenty of times.

Didn't quite make that 1st, huh?

His last 2 feature films were a crazy dystopian sci-fi action movie, and a crazy historical epic action movie. You could probably count his work on the upcoming show Constantine as horror, but other than that he hasn't made a straight up horror movie in 9 years.

For the record: I'm 100% in favor of Marvel making at the very least ONE movie with a female lead. But at this point, I'd be concerned it's going to be a bad self-fulfilling prophecy, where there's so much pressure on them to do it right, and so much expectation that they have to fail sometime, they would micromanage

If they wanted to do a Fraction-inspired or written Hawkguy film, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to let the character be funny or sardonic and I think Renner would be up to the task.

I hear Mavel has binders full of actresses to fill potential supporting roles.

That's not really saying much (granted, I haven't listened to it yet myself).

You're crazy.

Do you find you have trouble making new friends?

It's weird- I feel like season 1 of OITNB leaned toward comedy, but the Vee storyline in the 2nd season pushed the show so far toward drama, I think it would seem very out of place to get a comedy nomination next year.

I'm assuming the garbage @disqus_pMhFjdowA1:disqus is referring to is mostly The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family, and possibly American Horror Story. I would think that is obvious, especially since True Detective and Louie were shut out of the "big" awards, but then it looks like you're very new here.

They've mostly ignored Parks and Rec altogether, which is weird, since it seems like Emmy voters go out of their way to prove there's still great stuff to be found on the networks. But they do that by showering everything on Chuck Lorre, Modern Family and The Good Wife. I think crazier than Amy Poehler never winning-
