I don't think there is any possible universe that could accommodate such a thing.
"I don't care for it too much"
"Based on what I heard, Weiner has had a finale in mind for awhile, but he's told some people what it entails, and none of them have particularly thought it was a good idea."
C'mon, we've discussed this plenty on the Community boards. Sheldon is definitely on the spectrum and the show's absolute refusal to acknowledge that or engage with that topic in any way is a big key to its regressive "let's laugh at the spastics" awfulness.
That's not true. Jon Cryer and Eric Stonestreet won a bunch of times.
Andre Braugher was nominating for supporting, not lead, and so lost to Ty Burrell from Modern Family.
Yeah, I was half expecting it to win Best Comedy, just because the Emmys have a thing with awarding the same show several years in a row, then suddenly awarding the first season of something with lots of buzz. The near complete shutout kind of reinforces just how uncomfortable the voters are with "new" technology.…
"NYPD Blue beat out the Sopranos"
I think if it was going to win, it would have been for one of the first 3 seasons, and especially season 3. The buzz around it seemed to die off some this season, and will probably continue to do so as they adapt books that weren't considered all that great to start with.
"I don't get the hate."
The fact that it is far and away the most popular scripted television show in America doesn't hurt, either.
McConaughey will never EGOT now!
In the 90s, nobody knew who "Maya Rudolph" was, and The Rentals were solely known as "that band with the other guy from Weezer."
Yeah, I think I posted something to this effect the last time there was an article about The Rentals on here, and someone responded that Cuomo was always the sole mastermind of Weezer and Sharp didn't have any songwriting credits when he was in the band, but clearly they had something together that neither has had on…
It really is. I'd rank it below the Blue Album and slightly above Pinkerton. It's a shame that neither Cuomo nor Sharp seem capable of that level of greatness anymore.
What do you expect from libtards who vote for a socialist muslim?
Or in a single-screen theater on 35mm. There's no in-between.
