It's true- it's a strangely timeless film. With very few changes, I could imagine it being released in the 1970s or today to great acclaim.

I love The Kinks, but I find most of (what are widely considered) their best albums a bit… overstuffed. I don't know that they ever put out an album where every single song was amazing.
