Again, I'm the exact opposite. Rules of the Game is one of my all time favorite films, but I found The Grand Illusion a bit of a chore.

It's in direct proportion to how much X3 shat on its audience.
The A.V. Club
Just people hating on everything that is great.
Well what's funny is that everyone, including nearly all the writers for the site, ignored the actual question "Is there any work by an artist you love that is highly regarded and you know you should at least like, but you just can’t?" Everyone skipped over the "artist you love" part and just started listing whatever…
"And then in a post-credit scene, we'll reveal that the thing that took away those powers didn't really work anyway, so the whole battle over it was meaningless."
Which was really, really dumb, because then WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE MOVIE WE JUST WATCHED? It was one step away from "it was all a dream."
You look so sexy, Lisa!
Oh man, it would be so awful if Ruben Fleischer took over. Zombieland is okay, but it is (and Fleischer has stated as much) basically an Americanized Shaun of the Dead, and largely works by staying in that territory. And everything he's made since has sucked mightily.

Since you brought it up, does anyone know what that guy is doing for a living these days? Someone retweeted a blog post by him the other day, and I read and enjoyed it, but I have to imagine it can't be easy to find well-paying work in the field after what happened.
Yes, I got the impression there was a fair amount of cough syrup in there, not just "a splash."
So is the 1st season primarily goofy and funny? Does it start playing it serious later on?
Funny how many of the writers' official answers ignored the actual question.
They think every mass shooting is a government plot to enforce strict gun control, so you can expect this reaction literally seconds after a mass shooting makes the news.
But when the French do it, it's adorable!
Welcome to Night Vale. I'm friends with several huge fans and everything about it seems like it's tailor-made to my tastes, but every time I try to listen to it I just zone out or fall asleep. I gave up trying to force myself to enjoy it after about 10 episodes, but later realized all my favorite podcasts are either…
Wait, what did Marion Cottilard(sp) do?
