"Rixty Minutes" might just be my favorite episode of television in the past year, but it does seem to be one of the more divisive episodes of the series. "Lawnmower Dog" and "Meeseeks and Destroy" seem to be the most widely loved episodes.

"you mean he's finally playing a character without brain damage?"
Yeah, I've looked through late 90s yearbooks recently, and there are definitely plenty of JNCOs and chokers and the stuff you describe.
Oh, it's brung!
But the cover for the Bluray is kinda horrible!

Seems like Angie Tribeca is trying to intentionally mislead us as to the location of the series.
Just echoing sentiments from higher up the page- I think his political views, and his "followers'" beliefs, and the fact that he has "followers," and his opinions on any given movie are all fairly irrelevant in the face of the fact that he's one of maybe a few hundred people on the planet right now performing actual,…
Did ANY teen in real life within the last 30 years have a ladder to their window and have friends climb up it at some point?
I generally find Sonia Saraiya's writing to be interesting and entertaining, but jesus yes, throwing in a made-up terrible buzzword like that with no further elaboration, as if it is a valuable descriptor and an actual thing now, let alone a thing back in the 1990s, is… not good.

"Yeah, but, seems a little weird to not mention the other cop comedy that only premiered one year earlier."
Wow, that looks terrible. I've bought the separate season DVD sets of the show, then the gold box, and now I'm certainly going to end up buying this one, but they couldn't come up with a better cover for what is now the absolute definitive collection? All the other covers have been pretty good.

"Yes, absolutely, we are conveniently located adjacent to Alabama."
WOW
"Public Access show was a real delight"
I don't know about innovation. He could've just copied what they do on Sabado Gigante (quick game show bits with audience members, terrible sketches, various variety acts), and mixed in bits he already did on The Tonight Show (Jaywalking, headlines, celebrity guests etc).
I can see how one would think they're very similar based on brief descriptions and the titles. "Eric Andre" is more a pure talk show parody that pushes the cringey and grotesque elements, mixed with Jackass-ish prerecorded bits (and I'm assuming the studio stuff is fairly heavily pre-planned and scripted). TCGS…
Yeah, I'd hate for Gethard & co to have to compromise or mess with their format (or simply have a rigid format) just to get on "real" TV. In an ideal world, they can come up with a creative way to monetize the hell out of what they're already doing without having to answer to fickle advertisers or execs.
