In the beginning they thought it was just a dream and how they filmed it they bypassed the tropes of “OMG I’m in someone else’s body” but instead you get a lot of “Oh you’re acting normal today” from side characters. It’s only when they start leaving notes to each other do they start figuring things out.

Agreed. You make a great point about how so many people think in terms of tropes instead of how a movie is put together and how narrative flow works. Using tropes as a reason to dislike something is like not doing your homework. It’s lazy thinking and they can’t judge a narrative on it’s own.

It’s the idea of memory and how easy it is to forget it. How can you ask someone for an answer when you don’t even know the question? It’ll go like “Umm mom I want to know the name of this girl / boy but I can’t remembering anything about her / him. It’s more like a feeling as if I know this person. Can you tell me

Hah! Are you serious? You don’t even know the definition of racism. It’s to generalize an entire race over superficial traits or stereotypes. Really? He can observe a billion individuals and say they all lack common sense? You can say he claims to be superior. What a joke.

Nah, you just want to generalize a country you know little about to make yourself feel better.

You generalize a billion people, that is the definition of racism.

His premise of the article was ‘how weapons make games scarier’ The horror is that monster. So he implied you needed a weapon to face that monster. I didn’t say he meant he needed a weapon to fight the monster, but he needed a weapon to face it. I disagree that having a weapon makes a game scarier. I also disagree

I understand what you’re trying to say but you don’t necessarily need to have a weapon to face that monster.

An interesting article but ultimately didn’t sit right with me due to your definition of horror.
You wrote “Horror is confront the monster.”
And I disagree with that statement.
Looking up wikipedia for a better definition of Horror and Terror I found the following
“Horror is the feeling of revulsion that usually occurs
