It’s just common sense, and I’ll keep saying it until I’m red in the face.

“Smart Delivery” is nothing new, it’s just a buzzword they can put in press releases to make people go ooh and ahh.

Do people really not understand that this isn’t some huge, revolutionary thing? It’s a patch to the existing game, that’s it. The

KZ2 was better than what that trailer showed off.

“What do you think?”

Except that’s exactly what the movie industry did to comic books and the superhero genre.

Trying real hard not to let loose some anger and/or take it real personal that the video game-film genre has a huge chance at gaining legitimacy through Cate Blanchett’s casting... and Kotaku’s only take is to have one of its reviewers remind us that he doesn’t like Borderlands.

Lol for the extra money dumped into building a higher end rig you could buy both a Series X and a PS5...and then still have enough money left over to cover 5 - 10 years of service for both Game Pass Ultimate and PSN.

For Sony/Nintendo: First-party exclusives.
For Microsoft: I don’t know. Maybe Mac users who wanna play Xbox/PC exclusives?

Some people reaaaally need to stick to games

I am the thing you describe but I will still get it day one. This generation isn’t like other generations. If I buy it day one and it enhances the performance of my existing library, that’s fine with me until the more games roll out.

I’ve still got an older non-pro PS4, so I’m looking to upgrade just for the 4k support.

I got into an annoying argument with someone about Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn that started with “a woman can’t do all that stuff” (which I attempted to counter with the triple threat of “no one can - it doesn’t have to be fully realistic” and “some women could - Aloy is one” and “it’s a video game”)

It’s taken almost all of the enjoyment out of discussing media online. Rabid hoards of hyper-entitled fans are the worst.

None of it is even remotely outside the realm of possibility for what could happen in a Last of Us sequel. People are overreacting to on-paper plot points without any of the context that 15 hours of storytelling provides. It’s laughable.

He needs to win this election bad, or he will be dead broke fast from lawsuits, international debt collection, and whatever criminal cases the state of New York is cooking up come the day he’s officially a regular civilian.

they forgot to include the link to the “edited” video which makes it obvious.

All I heard was mechanical manual typewriter sounds. Didn’t hear the “drums”.

I flubbed so badly the first time through because I was too busy watching in amazement. Had to try it again after and salvage my pride. :)

My only criticism of the dance sequence is that the actual event (not the practice) is just so god-damned visually captivating that I found it very difficult to pay attention to actually making Cloud perform his little boy band routine.

Stopped reading this when I got to the idiotic comments about Nightmare 2 being "homophobic." The screenwriter and the star were gay, moron. Sorry your limited view of gay history can't take in the ironies they were playing with. And yes, discovering you were same-sex oriented in those days could be frightening,
