This change represents a lot of what is wrong with the male gaming audience in Japan today.

For anyone worried about not being able to get all of the store-exclusive pre-order costumes, don’t: at some point they’ll all be released in a DLC pack sometime after the game comes out. They’ll be exclusive only for a little while.

But then you wouldn’t be able to take advantage of streaming features developers might put in their games (like special chat commands that force Nanashi to do silly things in Akiba’s Trip) if you don’t stream directly from the console.
