The CCC Foundation has a list of doctors from every state who are sympathetic and will prescribe it. It’s a wonderful resource. They also have a letter you can hand your physician that essentially explains the treatment and advocates for you.

And his classism jars against modern sensibilities, too! Well, we can take delight in his coat getting ruined then, can’t we? :)

I sympathize with you, but I feel for your mom even more since she had to deal with all that vitriol. Why didn’t she drive alone?

Does a human turd sitting in the middle of the woods really have a significant environmental impact, though?

I’ve lived in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the past three years, and during that time I’ve seen more human shit in places that it didn’t belong than I care to mention. Most of the time it’s placed in these locations by folks who just can’t be bothered to go through all the hassle of finding an appropriate place to drop off

The AA brotherhood has helped a lot of people all over the world, so I don’t trash it; but for the first time in history we have something better than just pure abstinence, so it would be nice if AA got the word out about alternatives like the Sinclair Method. I know that no community wants to sharpen the blade for

Skip to 1:55 to hear Sarah Palin give a lengthy story along these lines. (This is what happens to you when you record an audiobook, folks! People WILL cut up your words and put them together in hilarious ways!)

Nope. My GP said I wasn’t a big enough drinker to jump right to naltrexone. I get the feeling he’s prescribed it before, but not for use according to the Sinclair Method. He said I was “pursuing too aggressive a solution”.

Yeah, it’s a shame. It’s done wonders for me. I wish more doctors would get on board with it.

Read more about it; the science is facinating. After less than a year of TSM a lot of people don’t drink at all anymore. They lose interest. Today is the first day in years I haven’t come home from work and started my evening with a glass of wine. I just don’t feel like it.

Prayer and abstinence were the only solutions up till recently, so I’m not too hard on them. But yeah, those are amazing results. I recommended it for one of my clients yesterday and she went to the doctor with renewed hope. It’s pretty amazing that the best tool in the box doesn’t require abstinence.

Did you experience it first-hand, or did you see it work for a loved-one? I’m using it to get sober and I’m astonished at how friggin easy it is.

Being compelled by a powerful neurological process isn’t halted by having smarts. There are very intelligent people out there who can’t put away their cigarettes.

I’ve been evangelizing this method to anyone who will listen! Nice to see I’m not just a voice in the wilderness!

Happy, well-adjusted people get addicted to stuff all the time, bro. It’s easy to get hooked on a potent substance.

12-step wasn’t an option for me, so I went with the “Sinclair Method”. Best decision I ever made. Didn’t realize how effortless it would be.

If he can’t do abstinence, let him try getting sober with the “Sinclair Method”. It’s working for me, and it’s taken no effort. My consumption is way down.

I don’t think most people can tell! I honestly always thought she was in her early twenties.

Is it only red wine that does it to you, or all alcohol?

Why do I get the feeling that an X-rated film in 1960 is probably way more tame than whatever gets an X today. Wait... Does anything these days still get an X? Seems like those are all NC-17 now, and then there’s the jump to XXX.
