Yeah, they also used Coors and PBR. My experience is that those do better, because the taste is not as dramatically affected (because it’s substandard to begin with).

I’m getting ready to head out for our annual guys car-camping trip — our 25th — so I’ll chime in: not every camping trip is about splendor, solitude, and silence. Sometimes it’s the best way for friends or family who are widely dispersed geographically to reconnect.

Mild counter-point to the Beer unit: some watery macro-brews like PBR and MGD can be frozen — critically, without exploding — and used as cooler ice.
