It’s tricky. The only time I’ve seen it done “risk free” is Emily Browning in God Help the Girl. She’s said she has no history of eating disorders and is very tiny, but I guess it would be weird to be told you’re so naturally thin that you can convincingly play an anorexic.

It’s so weird how location and demographics can vary. I work for a manga imprint in a large publishing house, so it’s not surprising that most of my immediate co-workers play games, but it’s been pleasantly cool overhearing people company wide, male and female, talk about it in a mostly mainstream industry.

I have so many fears about this but my biggest one is probably that they are going to cast Faye looks first and make her a more flat action girl.
