No shit. Can't think of a single actor that could capture Lono's slimy, unhinged charisma. Always thought he resembled James Belushi in Gang Related. Although I'd never pick him for the casting because he sucks. Ray Stevenson wouldn't be bad but I actually think he has too much gravitas to play such a scumbag.

The lead detective in Drug War was one cool customer. He made it through that movie handling every twist and turn in stride. He reminded me of Lau Ching Wan's character in my all time favorite Johnnie To movie, A Hero Never Dies. A Zen master that just accepted whatever reality he faced and was prepared to change

Drug War was awesome! I've been wanting to gush about it to someone but very few people in my circle watch Johnnie To. True Detective's final sequence was highly reminiscent of To's filmography and I can think of no higher compliment than that. Johnnie is a master of cinematic gunplay.

After we have them all sexually assaulted!

Stopped watching SOA two years ago. Is Sutter still big on rape?

At least we got our sweet precious back now. And the break even made me better appreciate all the awesomeness this episode unleashed. I'm gonna be bummed when its all over cause it will mean we will never see Cohle and Hart again.

Happy to see Zodiac is still ripping shit up somewhere out there.

For all the violence on that show, Sons of Anarchy never pulled off a scene even a QUARTER as intense as this final sequence. True Detective just made SOA look just as silly and fantastical as Torque.

No time for love Doctor Jones!

Rust making sure the kid got in the tub made me love him even more.

That was truly awe-inspiring. And he was sky-high! Bet if he were sober he would've made it out that neighborhood without breaking a sweat.

I'm so done talking to you like a man.

Rust is a beast.

Stood up and applauded when that sequence concluded. Television rarely gets that tense. It was AMAZING!

Drugs are definitely less litigious.

Love me some Zooks! The greatest thing The League ever produced was the Rafi & Dirty Randy LA adventure. I would watch every episode if Jason & Seth Rogan ever did a series that focused on them.

It certainly has ruined as many lives as drugs have.

Damn right! This asshole co-signed on an M. Night joint. Unless he accepted him as part of some charity thing, it shows his judgment has become seriously questionable.

He is annoying but this is a good move on his part. There is virtually no way in hell this won't be a foot long shit sandwich.

…he knows better than to listen to the desperate pleas of another hack director.

Thank you Dan & Ben! That made me very happy. So silly and totally amazing.

All this Lagoon talk has got me keen on re-watching the series again this weekend.

Saw Roberta's Blood Trail and loved it. Was there others? If so, tell me immediately please!
