No shit. Can't think of a single actor that could capture Lono's slimy, unhinged charisma. Always thought he resembled James Belushi in Gang Related. Drug War was awesome! I've been wanting to gush about it to someone but very few people in my circle watch Johnnie To. True Detective's final sequence was highly reminiscent of To's filmography and I can think of no higher compliment than that. Johnnie is a master of cinematic gunplay.

For all the violence on that show, Sons of Anarchy never pulled off a scene even a QUARTER as intense as this final sequence. True Detective just made SOA look just as silly and fantastical as Torque.
