Yeah I've never caught any previous reference. I'm glad to hear it wasn't something recently added to the show.

Bet it looked like Tetsuo at the end of Akira.
No Fire Marshall on the planet would ever allow that.
Happens more often than you'd think. H.P. Lovecraft was a vicious bigot with a Jewish wife.
Pair him with Bill Cosby and then we got something special.
And he was more of a violent idiot than a bad guy in Blind Date. That movie sucked but I sincerely love every scene with Larroquette.
Tahini. It's a wonderful paste.
I'm from that era as well and maybe I'm simple but when I'm enjoying a film or television show anachronism doesn't bother me that much. Every production suffer from continuity issues and if its in service of an entertaining story its forgivable.
The production is piss poor too. Crap CGI, limp writing, uninspired design, weak action direction and mediocre actors.
Enough with the Stan Lee cameos. They wore out their welcome ages ago. Whoa, check it out! An old man spouting gibberish! I can get the same thrill visiting a nursing home.
Can't think of any better choice. He's good with the quips and charming as hell.
Remember when Karl Urban used to suck? Like in Chronicles of Riddick. Him and Thaddie Newton was like an All Star Shit Show. He must've taken some acting classes or something because I adore him now. He was my favorite thing about the first Star Trek and he absolutely ruled as Dredd. I really, really hope both…
How sweet would that be? I appreciated her in the dominatrix get-up but I preferred her in that combat suit. With her powerful physical presence she looked like a walking nightmare. Like T-1000. She was badass.
Minka Kelly is going to be the focus of next week's episode. They've also alluded to her genetic tinkering and hinted at her taking on a more prominent role down the line. By the way, I couldn't disagree more about Gina in that leather outfit. There is always a place for cake on television, regardless if its cheese or…
This episode was definitely the first mention of any wall. They really shoehorned it in.
You know what else was impressive? Gina in that lingerie. Goddamn. The fact that she can truly kick ass makes her even hotter.
I too would've preferred if they kept out the Synthetic Soul shit and focused solely on the XRN. Gina was the show's first truly compelling threat. It would've been awesome if they kept her around for more than a single episode. Although it is comforting to know we now have a grand villain and more killer bots coming…
Haha! That neckbeard guy at the head of the table (in the first pic) is hysterical. I've been to weddings and never seen a couple stare at each other with the type of longing he's showing that cutout. Feel dirty. We're clearly interrupting a very intimate moment for him. The placement of his hands is pretty telling.
One of the funniest episodes of Life & Times of Tim was with Penny playing a vicious PR agent. Hearing her curse was a pleasure. It's like she's always trying to talk through a mouth loaded with jawbreakers.
NBC did an amazing job of making everyone despise those women before anyone saw one minute of their shows. It was unfair. I mean, those shows did turn out to be as awful as they seemed but even if they were good, who would've known. The ubiquity of those obnoxious promos guaranteed so many people would check out.
