Men do this to humiliate and degrade women, because it is the only thing that makes them feel big.  It’s never intended to woo or win a woman over.  That’s a fallacy.

Tucker Carlson would devolve into “she was asking to be raped” because she demanded a food delivery late at night and wasn’t wearing a burqa when she answered the door.

I’m

His defense “I didn’t think she knew about her titties!”

I had an Uber driver the other day that kept on banging his hand on the steering wheel and losing his shit because traffic was moving slowly. It’s really fun being trapped in a car with a strange, angry man :/

...and if your attempt to compliment a total stranger ends with “you have the most perfect titties” you probably shouldn’t keep going if you accidentally start.

If it was out of the incel bible, it would be a backhanded compliment. They don’t do unilateral appreciation, they have to point out a flaw, I think it’s in the rules (probably because women only date assholes? Or some bullshit reason like that).

Dickbags like tucker carlson aren’t being genuine.

“I hope you don’t take this the wrong way...”

“I’m not racist, but am about to say something super racist.”

Yep. Just as the rule that says if you use ‘but’ in a sentence, everything before the ‘but’ is a lie. “I was going to mow the lawn, but...” or “I’ve been meaning to call you, but...”

We (the users) have to accept some responsibility for this. We are creating a demand for cheap and convenient. It’s been going on for a while and the internet is making it even easier. The more we want <insert whatever> faster, more convenient to us and cheaper, the more that demand will push people to supply it.

Straight out of the incel bible.

If you begin a sentence with ‘I hope this doesn’t offend you’, then you probably shouldn’t keep going. I didn’t think this needed to be explained, yet here we are.

I’m so scared for her. The dudes who pull shit like this to begin with? They don’t get better when they get angry.

I worry for her now that he’s been fired. As she said, he knows where she lives. Everything about this is so bad.

Also: now she’s (rightfully) gotten this guy who clearly has unlimited employment options, excellent judgment, and a deep respect for women fired... and he knows where she lives. That’s the part that freaks me out.

I can see it.  “What?!  I’m fired?  I even said, ‘I hope this doesn’t offend you,’ so after that I should be allowed to say anything I want.”

Who does this? To what end?
